This is going to be a great episode, I can feel it, paralleling the story of the first week of the curse with Regina hating Snow just as much as she did before she enacted it. I really can't wait! Perhaps she'll make another one? Also, I agree with Rumple. People need to give up on all this revenge stuff. But they won't.
In other news, WHERE is Greg? I feel like that story was started and fell flat.
So this is what Evil Queen 2.0 looks like. I have very strong mixed feelings about the idea of bringing her back. As much as I love evil Regina, I want her to redeem herself. But at least they gave us a very good reason for her to revert back to her old self. I can't blame the woman for going nuts again after losing the last person who might have possibly ever loved her.
It seems that Rumple shows up at Cora's "funeral". I wonder if Regina will ever find out, if she doesn't already know, about his deal with her mother (and the other things in between).
Looks like snow offers her life to regina out of guilt and to protect her family, and regina rips her heart out. I am guessing regina didn't kill her(of coz, snow is the protagonist), but use her heart to control her so snow can do all sorts of dirty works for her. That would be one interesting character development for snow.
Gasp? Why? Do you really think anything other than 'business as usual' will happen to Mary? Typical promo BS, R grabs the heart, and Charming will ride in and save the day...big whoop-tee-do
Well, he didn't really do it for revenge... He did everything to get his son back.... The only thing (as far as we saw) was killing Milah...
Plus, to be fair both Regina and Cora did A LOT of stuff to hurt Snow (killing her mother, father, babysitter, enacting the curse,, etc etc), whereas that's basically the first thing Snow did to them, and that's because they were trying to hurt her family (yet again)....
And Rumple trying to kill Regina in 2x01 because she kept Belle locked up for 28 years was not revenge? Tell me, what would he do if someone was to kill Baelfire? Sit quietly in his pawn shop? Sorry, but no. It's ironic and also a little moronic to assume Rumple is just a nice guy not concerned about revenge. He manipulated people for 300 years to get what he wanted, for god's sake.
I found this to be quite a cool promo, but the shot of Regina grabbing a heart is actually from when she killed Graham. I guess she never actually takes MM's heart off.
Regina plotted with Rumple to kill her Mom when she first tried to cross over into Storybrooke....and had she succeeded, I wonder if she would be hating herself as much as she hates Snow.....eh....probably not.
Regina is doing my nut in. Even with Snow did her vengence kick isn't really justified. Snow killed your mother? Well you killed her father, your father, Graham, countless other people, cursed an entire land etc and you still make out like you're the ultimate victim in this. Over it.
But Regina always did this on her own or by the hand of random people (like Sidney Glass). But Snow acctually tricked her into killing her own mother. For me it is more wicked and evil then Regina ever did to Snow. Or you think that "Evil Queen" really deserve this?
Was it cruel yes but in the grand scheme of things I don't think it even compares to what Regina has done and will now do in the name of vengence. Is Snow just meant to constantly turn the other cheek whilst Regina does whatever the hell she wants to her and the people she loves? The audience seems to forgive Regina a lot despite all the crap she has pulled but Snow does one thing in retaliation and she is vilified.
The promo looks awesome, except for Neal seems to be featured heavily in every episode now. I can't stand him, he's totally ruining the regular cast dynamic for me :( Plus he's ruining all the Emma scenes he's in, can't even like her anymore.
This is probably what I'm most looking forward to, apart from the obvious Snow/Regina showdown. I wonder if Rumple will feel bad at all, not about Cora dying per se, but about what happened to Regina. After all, he did see the woman break in front of him, again, as her mother died in her arms. Her mother, who, btw, was a woman he once loved. I don't know, if he indeed has a heart, maybe "sorry" would be something nice to say o.O
Regina is certainly not rationally summing up all evil doings and then making a "fair choice"! This is not Gandhi we are talking about;)! Regina was always ruled by her overwhelming emotions - especially when it comes to hurt, anger and loss. She goes overboard like a trapped animal, that's it. She just lost her mother, and shared (right before) for the first time a loving moment with her. I can't blame her for not being reasonable. Add her utter loneliness to this and you have the doorway to insanity....This has nothing to do with making herself a victim. In a way, it's the total opposite.
I'm not saying he is a nice guy... But in my book his intentions were better than Cora and Regina's... And the message of the show is that noone is completely good and noone is completely evil... So...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Dying here!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Can't wait for this. The moment where it looks like Regina grabs Snow's heart made me gasp.
ReplyDeleteEvil Queen hating on Snow again in full force! Looks awesome! Canada never aired a promo after we watched it :(

Calling Regina doing something that would make the feud mutual. That seems to be obvious.
ReplyDeleteO_O asdfghjk!!! Regina takes Snow's heart?!Sh!t just got real.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are back where we started. Regina being super evil and trying to kill Snow. Wonder what/who is gonna to stop this from happening?
ReplyDeleteOK! Great! I just died from tonight's episode, I'll surely die next week again. It's a joy! This show kills me every Sunday. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou agree with Rumple, the one who influenced and manipulated everyone including the people who sought revenge. Oh the irony.
ReplyDeleteSo this is what Evil Queen 2.0 looks like. I have very strong mixed feelings about the idea of bringing her back. As much as I love evil Regina, I want her to redeem herself.

The Greg storyline has a purpose according to the writers but they said the less we know the better.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Rumple shows up at Cora's "funeral". I wonder if Regina will ever find out, if she doesn't already know, about his deal with her mother (and the other things in between).
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought too.
ReplyDeleteHe has some nerves though. Knowing he is the reason why Cora died. (convincing Snow to do it.)
ReplyDeletehe's the dark one after all, regina is not powerful enough to hurt him

ReplyDeleteWait! Was that Rumpelstiltskin telling Regina to give up on revenge? LOL
ReplyDeleteGasp? Why? Do you really think anything other than 'business as usual' will happen to Mary? Typical promo BS, R grabs the heart, and Charming will ride in and save the day...big whoop-tee-do
ReplyDeleteRegina, honey, you have my vote! You can change in s. 3 or 4 but right now - let's bring back some drama!
ReplyDeleteWell, he didn't really do it for revenge... He did everything to get his son back.... The only thing (as far as we saw) was killing Milah...

I reckon it's gonna be Emma not Snow... But apart from that I totally agree with you :)))

ReplyDeleteFor some reason I thought the promo will concentrate on the cursed Storybrooke storyline. Not that this is not good but I really wanted to see that.
ReplyDeleteI found this to be quite a cool promo, but the shot of Regina grabbing a heart is actually from when she killed Graham. I guess she never actually takes MM's heart off.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU. Yes Rumpel did it for his son but he manipulated and destroyed as many lives as Regina ever did.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I know, but I still wasn't expecting it.
ReplyDeleteRegina plotted with Rumple to kill her Mom when she first tried to cross over into Storybrooke....and had she succeeded, I wonder if she would be hating herself as much as she hates Snow.....eh....probably not.
ReplyDeleteOr just another fantasy, like with young snow. :)
ReplyDeleteRegina is doing my nut in. Even with Snow did her vengence kick isn't really justified. Snow killed your mother? Well you killed her father, your father, Graham, countless other people, cursed an entire land etc and you still make out like you're the ultimate victim in this. Over it.

ReplyDeleteI am actually thinking its a dream Snow has - guilty conscience and all.

ReplyDeleteWow... rude much? If she wasn't expecting it, then naturally it would make her gasp. It made me gasp too. You don't have to be so mean about it.

lol, that's kinda how I feel about this show too - glad you said it out loud.

ReplyDeletelooks awesomee! any lana parilla centric episode is an excellent episode for me, so heavily looking forward to this
