Interesting Symbolism with Snow holding an apple (considering Snow White hates apples).

Also, well, I guess Regina now has a reason for a face-heel turn.

  2. LOL at the "enchanted box". The more I see of her, the more I don't want Cora to go. Regina has to free herself of her influence, but Cora would still add to the show even if she and Regina were no longer an evil tag team.

  3. Come on Regina you didn't see this coming your mother is POWERTHIRSTY!!

  5. Regina...seriously. I know you have this enormous blindspot when it comes to your mother, but even a complete idiot should know by now that this was the plan all along. I really hope you're playing Cora. I'm not nearly as quick to dismiss your sudden and uncharacteristic stupidity as most others are.

  6. Normally, I'm really good at delayed gratification - BUT I WANT IT TO BE SUNDAY NOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. She may be. All she really cares about is getting Henry back. If she sees her mother as a hindrance to that goal rather than a help, she'll quickly turn on her.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Snow White doesn't actually hate apples. She's been pictured eating them many times, for example when she offered one to the Huntsman before she figured out he was there to kill her.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Man, Cora is so awesome... I do hope they bring her back via flashbacks (or manage to complete surprise me and NOT kill her off).
And that look on Regina's face says "hell to the no!". Even if she agrees to go along with Cora's plan, because, at this point, I believe she is too absorbed in it to turn her mother away, she is NOT liking this idea at all.

Post sleeping curse snow-white DESPISES Apples. E.Kitsis confirmed that that was the reason on why a kid gave her a pear instead of an apple in the pilot storybrooke.

  11. Seriously how crazy (or powerthursty) must Cora be, to become voluntarily The Dark One? It is Power, yes, but it is also a BIG burden....not to mention the transformation of your look;D

    ReplyDelete
  12. You are talking about Mary Margaret when she was still under the curse. At 5:12 on this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNaXBmsH_cY the interviewer points out that Ginnifer Goodwin has an apple tattoo, and that's when she states MM dislikes apples. That's why in that one episode where her student gave her a fruit, she was given a pear instead of an apple.

Yeah. post sleeping-curse MM/Snow dislikes apples. It has been stated before. Its obvious why Snow does, but its an irrational fear for memoryless-MM.

I doubt they would just have MM hold an apple for no reason at all too :)

  14. Oh God, if this is just a sneak peek, so not one of the best parts of the episode, then what better things will we see? Given this and the sneak peek with dying Rumple, this just might be the best episode yet...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh Regina you better run quick!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I didn't know that. I still think that it's only to do with Mary Margaret though, because she didn't remember the Fairytale Land events but she unconsciously knew something bad had happened and she was weary of the fruit. After the curse was broken and Snow White realised who she really was, I think she must have also understood the whole apple issue and hence got on terms with it. But if it's as significant as you say, I hope there is a story to why she's holding the apple! Maybe the writers are trying to tell us something?

  17. I am getting tired of regina and her Henry obsession. It's getting old.She doesn't have anyone but herself to blame for him loking for his biologicil family.During season 1 she was more Intrested In ruining snow/mary Margaret and running Emma out of town.If Henry was hurt In progress so be It.

Regina wants to blame snow for all the problems In her life. What about the person really responable? Her mother!

Cora Is almost certinly going to do but we should see more of Young cora In future.Rose Mcgowan has already hinted at that.Gold/Rumpy Isn't going anywhere.

If Regina can't see Cora only wants to be new dark one she Is idiot

  18. It's almost like she's his mother and has kidnapped her child!

  19. InvestedInYourFuture7 March 2013 at 18:33

Well frankly, Snow White has a whole lot more reasons to hate apples than MM.

And yeah, I doubt they would just have her hold an apple randomly. THat's something Regina usually does :P

    ReplyDelete
  20. I want her to be the new Dark One solely so I can see if she changes. Rumple stayed human when he got his powers back in Storybrooke, so maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's amazing how much some want to justify regina's actions no matter what.People have selective memories of events.Trying to compare Henry with biologicil family to kidnapping Is a strech. And they prevented others rom killing regina when she had no majic but regina Is totally ok with killing all of Henry's Biologicil family.

Seriously some want to act like Regina was one wronged.

    ReplyDelete
  22. No, it's not 'comparing'. It's LITERAL KIDNAPPING. That is what happens when you take a child that is not yours without the permission of the mother.

It's not an obsession. Regina is his MOTHER.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Regina knows that her "kidnapped" son comes back to town. So what will she do first? Hug him? No. Talk to him? No. She just want's to kill his biological family. That's not the normal manner of a mother with a kidnapped son. Because he wasn't kidnapped. He was with his biological mother temporary out of town by choice. Regina can't stand that she hasn't Henry alone anymore. It's not important for her what Henry wants she just think of herself. She wants to own Henry alone so all people he loves have to die.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh Cora, I am going to miss you so much.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh dear. No, her actions aren't right.

But that doesn't make it NOT KIDNAPPING.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm I the only one thinking that if Cora becomes the Dark One (and doesn't die) we would see Rose McGowan in a recurring role as a hot version of Cora. :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, I forgot about that! But what will she do in SB as the Dark One? Sitting with Regina and a heartbroken Henry in a big house and transform here and then someone into a snail and smash it? This whole concept is missing something...be the Dark One for what purpose in the long run?

    ReplyDelete
  28. yeah, right? Just have the power and what? Turn Storybrooke into a teeny tiny dystopia?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kidnapping?Kidnapping Is taking someone against his will.Henry Is with his biologicil family.Just because Regina adopted him doesn't make her a good mother.Henry wants to be with his biologicil family.Regina Is obsessed with owning Henry.Him being happy or what he wants Is Ilrelvent to her.Regina Is one of show's villains.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh dear. Let's try this again. Emma has no legal rights to Henry at all. She is just a person. Even if she did have legal rights to Henry, she took Henry without Regina's permission. That is kidnapping. 11 year old children cannot consent so even if Henry was willing, he's being kidnapped. If someone had asked for Emma's written consent and proof of her relationship to Henry, she and Gold would have been arrested for abducting him. Your opinion on Regina being obsessed has very little to do with anything. She IS his mother. That's it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. As an immortal, will a "dystopian terror SB" not be totally boring after a while? And Regina will be again under her regime...She can't agree to this - seriously, even if she gets Henry back (Although under this circumstances she won't get Henrys HEART/love back.) I wonder why she stays so calm..she must have a plan...

    ReplyDelete
  32. I doubt it. She just has no idea which direction to turn.

You'd think it'd get boring, but...

    ReplyDelete
  33. That's been done. (Regina)
If you think about it it didn't make much sense then. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Since, their memories and magic returned. Law is not much relevant anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  35. It really didn't make sense. Honestly, who curses themselves to eternal paperwork with a group of people you hate? Worse. Curse. Ever.

    ReplyDelete
  36. ...except, you know, in the world they're currently in.

    ReplyDelete
  37. They're isolated. Don't have real connections to it. Laws only apply if people abide by it for the most part. And they're not even from here.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Except not. because Henry, Gold and Emma are currently out in the real world. Where child abduction is an actual thing.

    ReplyDelete
  39. But since everyone in Storybrooke is from another world, unknown to the rest of the world, they can do pretty much what they please.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So if a cop stopped them in Manhattan, they would say "We're from part of another world, so it's not kidnapping?"

    ReplyDelete
  41. But at least Regina could leave her old persona behind, because everyone lost their memories and magic was gone. It provided some sort of a break for her, in which she could at least start an attempt (Henry) to her own "happiness". ...And meanwhile nobody else got what she had painfully lost (true love). I think in the beginning, it made sense to her - the outcome is something different...

    ReplyDelete
  42. In regina's defense she didn't know much about the curse I think. She just cast it. I'm curious when asked if she regrets doing it, what her answer would be. The only good thing she got from it was Henry...

(sometimes when he's not wishy washy anyways)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think that Emma may infact hold temporary custody of Henry, something that probably should have been expressly stated but wasnt.

Thats how i interpreted it anyway. Henry was removed from Regina's home for his own protection and put in the custody of the Charming family. It also explains Snow's explanation of how Emma didnt need Regina's permission or tell her where they were going.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hahahaha, oh dear... Of all the issues and themes in the show, this fandom likes to keep going round in circles with the same tired discussions.

And I'm sitting here laughing because just 3 weeks ago we were discussing the same kidnapping/abduction issue, remember? :)

  45. "I don't like what that enchanted box was saying. I'm not...I'm not wicked."
"It's not an enchanted box, it's a phone tap."
Hahahaha, oh I just love this. These two could have their own spin-off sitcom. :D
I love how Regina corrects Cora about the "enchanted box" remark, but doesn't comment on the "wicked" part. :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. I know right, I'd love to see them having their own sitcom. Regina trying to show Cora technical appliances and Cora fireballing them all because she mistakes them for demons or some such. I'd probably die laughing.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I doubt it. Because what would their grounds be when they visited a family court? And when would they have done that?
