Episode 8.23 of How I Met Your Mother will be called "Something Old". There will be a scene involving a Laser Tag game which involves Barney and Robin Sr.

    I guess the season finale title would be "Something New" then. And the "something new" will be the mother! :D

    Possibly. The titles of the last 2 episodes of season 2 were, "something borrowed" and "something blue"

    I doubt this is the wedding episode. The season finale will be the wedding episode, probably called "Something New" as mentioned above, and this episode will be about the last preparations etc

    "Something Old" will be Barney & Robin finally getting hitched and "Something New" will be the Mother cause SHE IS NEW. A little laser tag is just awesome I'm hoping they'll recreate the last laser tag scene with BR that would make my life complete and then I'll rest easy for season 9.

    Even if it actually is a two part-finale it doesn't mean it's all wedding all the time, there were a lot of flashback moments or moments not moments not related to the wedding in the season 2 finale, so there's always time for laser tag

    This won't be the episode of barney and robins wedding, if you remember through out most of the series, ted states that he met the mother at a wedding which we later find out is barney and robins wedding and with season 9 coming there not going to show the wedding where he meets the mother at the start of a series...
