Not surprised that she and the writers decided to change everything... it's not like she never plans anything shocking =P
ReplyDeleteHer tweets sounds so schizo, especially when you put it right next to each other. :P.
ReplyDeleteI saw this the other day and i realize all of this is for the buzz. She,Shonda and her cohorts are doing this for the attention... She did the same thing last year and honestly at this point she is making me sick. I for one at tired of being a puppet....That's it,no more....
ReplyDeleteYeah I know, so that's why I don't get why people are still so surprised... 9 seasons people! By now, you would think people know a disaster is always around the corner in the Grey's writing room...
ReplyDeleteI know.
ReplyDeleteThere's really no more shock value anymore, they're just trying to overhype it too much.
ReplyDeleteShut up moaning and don't watch the show. Simple!
ReplyDeleteWell,i must be doing right, lately, my comments have been answered with responses that have been deleted..I just cannot imagine what little o me is saying to warrant all this??
ReplyDeleteGod I hate her. Ego trip or what... if Mer and Der loose the baby I don't know how Ellen and Patrick could renew after season 10.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah,i know! Good god almighty, last year she ( Shonda) started a ruckus which didn't quit, and i think this is what she and her writers like to do every year. Its always something with her,as long as it boosts the hype she is all for it....I love this show but i have had it up to here with her b.s....
ReplyDeleteLast year was like a feeding frenzy, literally, it was insane here everyone had their own opinion, but in actuality we were the puppets, and she pulled the strings. This year i decide not being her puppet....
Same here, I do wonder what last minute changes she made though.
ReplyDeleteMy god, this sounds crazy. Everyone will hate her, I know, and I hated her last year as I thought it was way too cheap and not properly dealt with, and I've hated that she killed of Lexie and Mark instead of letting them go, but the truth is that I love Grey's, I will get emotional with whatever she cooks up and I will keep on watching as long as I love the characters and the storylines. So, yeah I am a puppy, yeah Shonda is a manipulative woman, but yeah, she knows what she is doing and even after 9 years, I guarantee we will be on the edge of our seats watching the finale, because that is the Grey's Anatomy we all love, even if we all love to hate Shonda almost as much...
ReplyDeletethey will still have the baby people seem to be jumping to conclusions that the cancer rumor is being substitued with alzehimers as so many little hints lead to Mer getting it which will suck.
ReplyDeleteWhy why why can't this season's finale be revolving around the people who weren't in the plane crash last season (Owen, Jackson, April, Bailey, Callie, Alex, Richard and the intern's) as none of them have ever had crap happen to them it's always Meredith and Derek getting the crap heaped on them. I really want some happiness for the main couple.
ReplyDeleteWhen Patrick signed his contract last spring it was for two years. So unless he breaks his contract he has one more year left.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she made any changes at all, actually. I bet Shonda and her writers had the finale all figured out from the beginning and she only said it'll be a calm, non-action finale to be able to say it's a shocking finale now, only to make a hype about it, etc.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, I just don't see why she needs to have tragedy, death and trauma in every season final. I get this is Grey's but come on! Can't they have one final about a patient (like Denny dying in season 2) she just throws in the plane crashes, shootings etc because she can. Mer having Alzheimer would suck but it would be more realistic than her holding a bomb, drowning, being in a shooting, a plane crash etc.
ReplyDeleteIs this woman totally incapable of crafting a story that doesn't involve disaster and killing off characters. Enough already. Even the actors are questioning why their characters even hang around this hospital anymore with all the crap that keeps happening to them.
ReplyDeleteTypical of her to be overdramatic about the hype.
ReplyDeleteSR is a sadistic bitch. And unlike usually I don't mean that in a good way.
ReplyDeleteI think the main player's will stick out their contract's, it will probably be limited on screen time like this season, but hopefully not as it most likely being the last season i would want the main character's to feature more then the minow's like the new intern's.
ReplyDeleteIf you go back and research Shonda Rhimes' interview and read the Grey matter writer's blog she has always said that she pitches the end of the season to the network when they return to start filming in the fall. She always knows how each season will end. I agree that she does this for attention, and ratings obviously because they have not been great this year at all, but people are onto to this game, and it is beginning to grate on my nerves. I really hate how she tweets this stuff and then gets up the fans for taking it so seriously; some do go over-board, but if you don't want the crazies yelling at you online, then don't incite that behaviour. She really cannot take criticism; and her creative team are just not creating anything original. Shonda knows this, I think that she's known it for awhile, but I also feel like they are running out of ideas. As I ask of Shonda is please do not kill anyone, and please no crazy disasters, I could not stand it after seeing Lexie die last season; and losing Mark near broke my heart, I so wish he had lived. I really never thought I would say this, and have not watched last nights episode yet, however with the rumour that Meredith has the alzheimer's gene going around, I am so upset about this story; someone on Twitter said that she thinks Shonda is trying to finish out the post it note; I think she could be right. We are coming to possibly the end of the series next year and I don't want Grey's to end with Meredith getting Alzheimers, not that I believe this will happen, but in our mind we will be thinking that's how she ended up.
ReplyDeleteLove Grey's Anatomy, love the music, but often too loud and we miss a lot of the diaglog even after backing it up several times.
