    Can they even move in that thing? It looks highly impractical. Do they have some kind of power, because otherwise I'm thinking that the inevitable running away will be very easily accomplished. They don't exactly look light on their feet.

    I chalk it up to the Jason Voorhees / Michael Meyers phenomenon. They never run and they clomp around like Frankenstein's monster but you can never seem to shake 'em.

    Fair. But once they get you, with their Halloween-like ability to just keep popping up, what do they do with you? I'm dubious about their ability to lift their arms. Pretty confident they can't turn their head. Might be able to kick you in the shin but I think that's about as high as that's going. I mean, the Cybermen look clunky too, but they've got the laser things. What do the Ice Warriors do? Are they just not showing their massive ice guns or what? I know they've been on before, so I'm just wondering what their thing is, because I'm guessing stealth or martial arts or boxing or anything that involves motility is out.

    Although I've just looked them up on Google and am now glad they at least have hands, so that's something.

    I don't know what they have in store for the new Ice Warriors but the old ones had sonic weapons, bio-weapons, and standard weapons like swords and axes and such.

    I haven't watched the old series but doesn't their name suppose they're made out of ice? This is very ugly, but what DW monster isn't...

    Huh. Good to know. I can't imagine the swords and axes will much use - again, limited motility ... but the sonic weapons sound promising. Thanks.
