Here is another big piece of evidence that the upcoming eighth season will be the last outing for Dexter.
While on a conference call Monday, CBS Corp. president and CEO Les Moonves referred to the new season of the serial killer thriller as the “last” one for the show, Broadcast & Cable first reported. During a question-and-answer session at Deutsche Bank’s 2013 dbAccess Media, Internet & Telecom Conference in Palm Beach., the moderator made a reference to Dexter “going off the air” while asking the executive what’s coming down Showtime’s creative pipeline. Moonves can be heard on the conference call audio playback replying, “We have Ray Donovan coming on, with Liev Schreiber, which comes on with Dexter‘s last season starting in June…”
