CBS cares! And I think Craig means it, because he said he likes Community when Joel McHale had come to visit (which is often). And when he means it, he tells us that he knows we're thinking "he says that about every show" (in fact he actually doesn't, one of the great things about him), but then he adds that this time he actually means it, so there you go, that was a heartfelt ooh-la-la to NBC. Craig also likes Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, The Wire, Homeland, The Office and Mythbusters.
Anyway, if you want to see Britta blowing a rusty trombone, you should watch this video. Gillian Jacobs filled in for Alison Brie, who was sick and cancelled at the last minute.
Gillian's interview starts at 29:52', but frankly you should watch the whole show, because Craig Ferguson is awesome, funny, meta (perfect fit to welcome a Community star) and unlike any other talk show host out there.
Besides, in Zach Braff's interview, we get the world première sneak peek of a 1988 CBS unaired pilot where both Craig (when he was still an alcoholic drug addict) and a young Zach Braff (his first ever role) starred !
Craig mentions that there should be a Community movie (where have I heard that before…) where everyone goes nuts (classic Community then), and he'd like to be in it as the guy who plays the trombone ! Well, we still have two more seasons to go until then, but make room in your Summer 2015 schedule, Craig.
