Yay! And I hope Jensen will direct again, too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteYes, please! He's done such a great job so far ;)
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I CAN'T EVEN TRY TO BE COHERENT RIGHT NOW!
ReplyDeleteHopefully Castiel being around a lot will make sense and not just be there for the sake of it. I do love that little angel but don't like it when he's there just as wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm not glad to have him around but until I see what kind of plot they have in store for next season, I'm considering this move total fanservice and placation for this mess of a season.
ReplyDeleteSo much for the dramatic effect of the Angel Tablet.
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I loved him in 4 and 5 but after that it just felt like storylines suffered as a result of trying to find ways to keep him relevant.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD CARINA ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME CAS!FAN WHIPLASH???
ReplyDeleteI AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS. SO SO SO HAPPY.
As Castiel, I'm sure. Wonderful. I wish we could just be rid of that angel already, it's beyond old.
ReplyDelete*Fist pump in the air* <---- I literally did that with a muttered, "YES!!" AHH!
ReplyDeleteWhat bad news.:(
ReplyDeleteNot just has this season sucked but that means next season will be even worse.
They haven't a clue what to do with Castiel's character as it is and now they're going to make him a regular. Really.
If they're going to throw Sam into the bunker and sent Dean off with Castiel, it's all over for me.
It's a good job I will always have seasons one to three to console me.
Really? I think this season has been awesome.
ReplyDelete???
ReplyDeleteUm, angel tablet? Gates of Heaven? etc etc
Also, "fanservice" is a scene of Sam working out shirtless. The inclusion of an entire character arc isn't fanservice, it's a writing choice.
I don't see how people can claim that they don't know what to do with Cas' character when there's plenty going on with him this season.
ReplyDeleteAnd not even shippers imagine Dean going off with Cas while the series is still running. It's not gonna happen.
This season has been awesome big improvement from seasons 6 and 7 and I love the character of Castiel's and I've enjoyed all his storylines throughout seasons 4-8 and I'm liking his storyline this season and I'm sure he will have a great storyline next season so I am happy he has been re added as a series regular and I think the show needs more Cas to fil the void left by Bobby I would personally love for Cas to become human and become a hunter
ReplyDeleteIn your opinion.
ReplyDelete(btw Angels are the beeeeeest)
"The inclusion of an entire character arc isn't fanservice, it's a writing choice."
ReplyDeleteFirst, he's already included. They're just increasing his presence. Second, that seems like a rather naive statement.
It has been. I was upset with the direction it seemed to be taking around 8x10, but 8x14 turned that all around. I love the mytharc and what they're doing with the brother's relationship, and the mosters-are-people-too theme, and now knowing that I don't have to worry about Castiel's permanence on the show is icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteI have long accepted that Cas is not going to be written out and I would be lying if making him a series regular doesnt make me uncomfortable but if they are lets keep him as a Angel and not human.
ReplyDeleteWell that ruins any mystery on whether or not Castiel will get banished by the Angel tablet at the end of this season.
ReplyDeleteYou're of the opinion that this season is an improvement. I'm not. Anyway, I'm not stating any sort of dissatisfaction with having more Castiel on the show. I'm simply questioning the motives of the people who made the decision.
ReplyDelete(In your opinion).
ReplyDeleteI hope they give him a better script to work with than the last two. :/
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that this season has been a mess, it hasn't been nearly as bad as Season 6 and 7 (7 was God awful except for a few episodes).
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you've enjoyed it but for me all I have seen has been unpleasant and useless brother drama, a whole series of plot-holes left unexplained such as why San didn't look for Dean and who the guy was standing outside Amelia's house just to mention a few, combined with a complete disregard for continuity.
ReplyDeleteX
The episodes have also been iffy and badly written, so that's why I haven't liked this season.
Don't know why people hate both Castiel is doing its role and I think
ReplyDeletethat makes it quite well we have already lost to bobby and many more
people so I am delighted that Misha Collins is a regular character in
the series
A mess is a mess. No one should be satisfied with that.
ReplyDeleteO_______O WHAT?!?! These are huge news!!!Ican't believe it :O Great!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked Castiel when he first appeared in the barn in Lazarus Rising but from there on the character went downhill for me.
ReplyDeleteFrom 'On The Head Of a Pin' onwards when he made Dean torture Alastair, I started to dislike him and when he let Sam out of the Panic room, he killed any residual respect I might have for the character, and he has done nothing from then on to make me revise my opinion.
He should have gone when his story-arc ended for he is just too powerful to be put on a par with the human Winchesters.
X
I am well aware that many like him so I'm sure they'll be happy at the news.
"Fanservice" is just so overused to the extent that it's meaningless. If a writing choice is good for the story, then it doesn't matter if it's fanservice or not. If it's bad for the story, then the substantive, meaningful criticism would be what makes it a bad writing choice, not whether or not it's fanservice.
ReplyDeletewell not for sure...if he becomes human by the end of the season that might still happen
ReplyDeleteYep, look for more prettyWallpaper!Sam in S9 (S10?)
ReplyDeleteI'm of the opinion that the angel tablet will be next year and that they only have time left for the Gates of Hell this season.
ReplyDeleteAnd shirtless Dean sex scenes are not also "fanservice"?
ReplyDeleteAbuse of a word may dilute its potency but it doesn't negate the meaning of the word or its use and in this case the use of the word fanservice is apt.
ReplyDeleteAnd again I say, if it makes for a good story, then whether or not it's fanservice doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteThe show's track record for the last three consecutive seasons makes that possibility rather unlikely.
ReplyDeleteGreat News.
ReplyDeleteQuite right!
ReplyDeleteYou know what I can't understand about these writers, they have a handsome guy like Sam as one of only two main characters and yet they can't write a story-arc where he and his brother work together as a team fighting evil.
ReplyDeleteX
How hard can it be to come up with a thrilling story without throwing Sam into the background and teaming Dean up with the guest star of the week. It's ridiculous under-usage of a wonderful character.
That's another good example.
ReplyDeleteMISHA YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! SO HAPPY!!!! DAMN YES! :D Season 8 hasn't finished yet but I'm already expecting season 9!
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago I would have been very excited but I've been mostly indifferent toward this show lately. The show needs to fix some core issues (namely Sam, Dean, and mytharc issues). They need to bring back some consistency, suspense, and excitement. And until they do that, all of the Cases and Crowleys won't help.
ReplyDeleteBut with that said, this isn't surprising. I think we all knew that Cas would play a big role in angel storyline, so it makes sense to make sure he's available when they need him.
And yet, none of those things you've mentioned as negatives are in any way related to the inclusion of Cas.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'd rather not have that mystery hanging over my head. Cas fans have been subjected to enough lately, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy!!!! season 9 is going to be amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO happy with this news. Castiel is the reason I became a fan of this series and I so sad that Misha Collins was no longer a regular in seasons 7 and 8 because we seemed to get a lot less of him. I almost gave up on the show entirely during season 7. In fact after 7.02 I didn't watch another episode until 7.17 came along. I am glad I stuck it out though. I've been enjoying season 8 so much despite the fact I wasn't getting as much Castiel as I wanted. However, now knowing he's a regular in season 9 and will certainly be playing a larger role, I'm beyond thrilled to be a Supernatural fan again! Thank you Jeremy Carver!!! :)
ReplyDeletei am so happy! team free will is back!
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think that could ever happen? Have we been watching the same show?
ReplyDeleteWhat does this even have to do with Sam?
ReplyDeleteHe's doing the trials. How is he wallpaper?
OH MY GOD WHAT A BUNCH OF SAD PEOPLE HERE!!! LET'S CELEBRATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CASTIEL AS A REGULAR IN SEASON 9!! IT MEANS MORE TEAM FREE WILL, MORE CASTIEL BEING GREAT, MORE DEAN AND CAS, MORE FRIENDSHIP AND SUPERNATURAL AND FAMILY AND JOKES AND AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing news! Looks like after awesome season 8, season 9 will be even better! There can never be too much of Cas! :D And it'll be nice to finally be able not to worry for his life.
ReplyDeleteAlso I'm already excited for Misha's episode!
I'm so, so happy. I guess this means, we will be dealing with angel tablet in S9. It makes sense. There's just one trial behind us and we're already on episode 15.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I missed Cas. Supernatural without Team Free Will is no longer something I would love to watch.
CASTIEL IS THE BEST. Love the news :) And more Dean pls. We need a good interview with jensen
ReplyDeleteBest news I could have hoped for!
ReplyDeleteCas is a great character and I can't wait for Team Free Will to be back.
I'm so excited! Team Free Will! MISHA! I officially can not WAIT for the rest of this season AND the next!!
ReplyDeleteso happy!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy about this! :D I hope that means a lot more Team Free Will in S9, which would be beyond awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteBest news ever, ALL HAIL CARVER! I am so happy right now I wish I could hug all the writers and producers etc... :')
ReplyDeleteThat's such wonderful news!!!!!! I could not be happier right now!!! I absolutely adore Misha!!!

ReplyDelete'adlfkjas;ljk wow this totally made my crappy day so much better
ReplyDeleteYES!! I'm so excited and so glad Misha is back on a regular basis!
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to express how excited and thrilled I am about this news! If I wasn't already excited for season nine, this'd do it!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion too! I'm really happy about the news :D
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! Misha is my favorite cast member, and Castiel is my favorite character next to Dean. I'm also really interested to see what the episode he's directing will be like. :)
ReplyDeleteI AM SO HAPPY! This is the best news in a long time! :D
ReplyDeleteYAAAAY LOVE YOU MISHA. you're awesome.
ReplyDeleteNothing could make this day better, okay?
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about this news! It's going to be amazing!! I love Castiel and look forward to see what happens to his character and really excited to see Misha direct, we have know for a while he is a special guy and interested to see what his take on supernatural will be!
ReplyDeleteBEST NEWS EVER
ReplyDeleteSO excited for Misha to direct an episode! He's incredibly creative and I know he'll bring a great perspective! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so thrilled he's back, best news of the day!:D
ReplyDeleteI AM SO HAPPY YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW EXCITED I AM
ReplyDeleteI'm so so so happy ! OMG, thank you very much ! *cries* Cas as regular, Misha episode director... I'M FUCKING HAPPY

ReplyDeleteHALLELUJAH
ReplyDeleteYEEEEEES!!! GREAT NEWS !!! OH MY GOD!! YES!! THIS HAS MADE MY DAY OVER 9,000 TIMES BETTER!!! :D More Misha and Cas. I ... Am I dreaming?? :')
ReplyDeleteFantastic news!
ReplyDeleteSo excited that Misha is going to be a regular! Cas is a huge reason I even started watching Supernatural last year!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome news!
ReplyDeleteThe whole reason I started watching Supernatural was because I was interested in where they were going with Cas and now we get to see him for another season!
Curious to see how this whole angel/demon tablet thing works out now.
THANK YOU, sooooo excited!
ReplyDeleteAww, well that's too bad they won't get rid of him :)
ReplyDeleteYAY MISHA! I've fairly mixed feelings on season eight so far, particularly compared to the masterpiece that was season seven, but having Cas back as a regular can only be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear this. He (both the character and the actor) deserve it. The show needs him.
ReplyDeleteSo happy with this turn of events. Cas is a great character and the only other person aside from the brothers that I would like to be a regular is Bobby... But we all know what happened to him.
ReplyDeleteCab't wait to see how Cas' sotryline develops and hopefully his and Dean's complicated relationship is developed further :) I cant wait!
Unfortunately we have been watching the same show, one in which Carver or whoever is really directing things behind the scenes, has done their best to ruin what was once a wonderful original little horror show about two smart, capable and caring brothers who roamed the country-side together kiling evil and saving lives.
ReplyDeleteX
Supernatural is no longer that show but is morphing into something completely different, becoming only a pale travesty of what it once was and to me, and I'm sure to many others, that's just so sad.
YAY. I love Cas and what it adds to the dynamics between the brothers and his relationship with Dean, plus it helps to have other main characters OTHER than Dean and Sam. Don't get me wrong, love them both to death but I like Cas too and love that we're going to see more of him.
ReplyDelete...I've never been this happy for a TV show in my entire life. Seriously. I'm hysterical.
ReplyDeleteYES GOOD PERFECT HE'S COMING BACK THANK GOD TEAM FREE WILL ITS NOT TEAM FREE WILL WITHOUT CAS
ReplyDeleteCas is gonna be back! TEAM FREE WILL FOREVER! :D I'm so happy right now!
ReplyDeleteWORDS CAN'T EXPRESS HOW HAPPY I AM FOR MISHA. HE'S DIRECTING AND I'M SO PROUD AND THEN HE'S A REGULAR AND OMFG YOU GUYS I AM SO HAPPY
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that Cas will be back (full time!) for season 9! There is nothing I love more than Team Free Will on Supernatural. I think Castiel creates a wonderful dynamic with Sam and Dean, and I'm excited to see the plans the writers have for him.
ReplyDelete(Why did I make the mistake of looking at the comments. Why do I do that?) Hell yeah Misha's back, hell yeah Castiel's back, and hell to ever loving yeah for the next season. I can't wait to see what they can do with Castiel and maybe finally taking a real swing at his angel issue instead of the "oh he's too powerful wank". (shit, I can't wait to see how this season ends up playing out. We're finally getting a little on track.)
ReplyDeleteimo s8 has been pretty great so far, only a couple of episodes have been shit. Show hasn't redeemed itself to me completely though, needs more. :D
ReplyDeleteAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAA YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
ReplyDeleteALL HAIL JEREMY CARVER! this is the best news of the year so far
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Misha.♥
ReplyDeleteSo happy about this! Such a great character, and I love his arc so far. The show will definitely benefit from this:) also Misha directing will be great - I can't wait for the outtakes
ReplyDeleteYay! Great news!!!!!
ReplyDeleteso proud of misha he's going to be great :)))))))))))
ReplyDeleteSo so so freaking happy about this! We love Misha, the show wouldn't be the same without Cas. Amazing news!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so so so so happy! I prettys sure I would have stopped watching if Cas would have left
ReplyDeleteWHOOOOOOOOOO:) So happy right now. Misha is a brilliant actor and Cas has so many possibilities
ReplyDeleteThe majority of the fandom is rejoicing because the majority loves Castiel and Misha Collins and are excited to see him return as a regular! I have confidence in Supernatural and it's writers/crew/cast. I am sorry to anyone who dislikes the character or whom has a problem with the show because of this, just hold out that this will pleasantly surprise you and please don't entice bashing - respect each others favor for the character and we will respect your disfavor.
ReplyDeleteALSO, FRICKYEAH CAS IS BACK!!
greatest news in 'supernatural' history ever.. for me.. if some fans r stupid enough to think that castiel is going to come in between sam and dean, they are idiots.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic news. I love Sam and Dean and Cas, so happy Castiel will be around more often and is staying a part of SPN. \o/
ReplyDeleteSO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! Misha is an amazing actor and has done WONDERS to the show. Both the show and Misha deserve this.
ReplyDeleteAnd, ha! So do we! It's been a difficult two seasons for Cas fans.
*happily screeching in Enochian* I'm so happy I don't even know what to do with myself. What do normal people do when they are this happy?
ReplyDeleteSO MUCH FEELINGS I JUST CAN'T DESCRIBE ITS AFGSJWNKL;
ReplyDeleteYOU GUYS ARE AWESOME
Yesssssssssssssssssss! Best news ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete*flies to the sun* i'm so happy. Sweet, sweet news. Cas is a great character, a loved and important one. Misha's acting is flawless. Season 9 is gonna be awesome.
ReplyDeleteBest news we could ever have! This is so so so awesome I CAN FEEL TEARS OF JOY COMING! :'D
ReplyDeleteThank you for this SPN!!
And can't wait for director!Misha!!! asdfghjkl
It has everything to do with Sam .
ReplyDeleteThis made me so happy! You go Misha! :D I totally did my victory dance xD
ReplyDeleteI'm more glad to hear about this than I have been about any other news for the coming year. THANK GOD
ReplyDeleteVery good news! I am so happy, I can't believe it. I checked ten times before I believed and thought it's a cruel joke. For the first time in three years we don't have to worry about Cas' fate, at least this season, and it feels good, so that is what being Dean!girl or Sam!girl feels like. :D
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't understand why they haven't showed us more Cas' story, really. He is such a charismatic character, such a wonderful character that shows us what it's like to be human, even though he himself is an angel. No wonder why so many people relate with him, his story is the growing up one, he learns from his msitakes and grows. And he has changed so much over the seasons, over 4-5 years, which in his life is nothing, because the dude's like 400 million years old.
The love I have for Cas is immense, and I don't understand why TPTB haven't taken full advantage of his character, such a wasted potential. But I am foever grateful they introduced such a compelling character.
And we are going to see more of his story in season 9! I'm so excited, thank you, SPN!
I am so excited for this. :D Mishamigos/Mishaminions UNITE!
ReplyDeleteEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YAYAYAYAYAY This is amazing! He's a REGULAR and he's directing an episode! Could not be more happy about this :D
ReplyDeleteOMGGGGGGG THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO FREAKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD OH YES THIS IS SOOO NICE TO HEAR!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I can't wait until season 9 rolls around. And what an interesting episode it will be! I'm so excited - Cas makes a great edition, and it's great to have him back!
ReplyDeleteSEASON 9 WILL BE THE BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~ I'm so happy I can't even think properly!
ReplyDeleteOh my goshhhhhh yesssssssss!
Geeez, im so happy i loved season ,5 but 6 and 7 and even 8 didnt have enough Cas in them :( i felt he was pointless, but now i feel he'll have some story finally ! and Misha's acting is priceless, so im really happy *-*
ReplyDeleteSam
ReplyDeleteis
doing
the
trials.
Sam is struggling physically from the strain of doing just ONE trial already. This is a major plot point.
HOW do you think he is being thrown to the background?
MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! *w* We love ya Mish <3
ReplyDeletedsfhgdkjf this is literally the best news i've ever heard ;w; so excited!!
ReplyDeleteYES!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about this... I don;t even have words. :')
This is incredibly amazing dfgsdjfg. I can't wait to see him there and the episode he will direct!! Misha deserves everything, I am so happy for him ~
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I'm so happy for him, he's a great addition to the show and he gets along greatly with Jared and Jensen! I'm really excited! :D
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so happy! Congrats Misha! J2M FTW!
ReplyDeleteThe best news I've heard all day! Misha brings so much to the show and I'm sure his directing experience will lead to a memorable gag reel, at the very least. ;) Thank you Carver and Edlund!
ReplyDeleteCastiel has been completely unnecessary in season eight.
ReplyDeleteHe was a third wheel to Dean and Benny in Purgatory, he's a third wheel to Sam and Dean and is only good for being used as comic relief such as talking to cats and sniffing bladder infections and of course being manipulated by stronger beings, in this case the equaly useless Naomi.
X
If he had never been in this season at all, his contribution would never have been missed.
Wonderful news!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yay! Im so excited!
ReplyDeleteHELL YEEEEES. Just got home from school to this wonderful, amazing news and I am so happy!!!! Now I have the energy to study!! SO HAPPY FOR MISHA
ReplyDeleteTeam Free Will is my favorite character. So happy for this news and can't wait to see the three of them back together again.
ReplyDeletesqueee! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW AND I CANT WAIT FOR HIS EPISODE AND ALL SEASON WITH CASSSS! I have all caps FEELS
ReplyDeleteI've been rather indifferent to the show lately, but this is great news and now I'll surely watch the last episodes and the next season with renewed enthuriasm!
ReplyDeleteCastiel is one of my favourite fictional characters and Misha Collins is a marvellous actor, love them both.
Best news of 2013 for me.. Cas is back. I'm so happy. Misha collins congrats and wish u all the best with ur directing career.. You'll do it fine.. Cuz u are the BEST. yoooohoooo.. Cas is back
ReplyDeleteThis is the best Supernatural news I've heard in a very, very long time. I'm so excited for season 9 now! Bringing Cas back full time is the best decision they could have made.
ReplyDeleteYES. Thank god haha :) I love Misha and the Dean/Cas scenes
ReplyDeleteI'm sooo happy...! I can't even... GOD! Yes!
ReplyDeleteBEST NEWS EVER! i'm so excited for season 9 already!
ReplyDeleteReally happy about this. I love Cas, and Team Free Will working together. Their dynamic is great. Now all we need is a great mytharc for all three of them and I don't see why we can't all be happy.
ReplyDeletefantastic news!
ReplyDeleteSo great. Fuck yeah, we will have more MISHA *_*
ReplyDeleteYAY! HE is such a delightful actor, and the chemistry between him and the leads is so strong, this has made me VERY HAPPY!
ReplyDeleteOh my god, this is the absolute best news i've heard in a long while. Made my day! So what should be the catchy fan-given title, like season gr8, for season 9??
ReplyDeleteNothing could have made me happier this month than this news. I've been in a tough spot in my life, like... not a minor tough spot, and Misha Collins/Castiel is a giant bright dose of happy every time I get an hour with him. I could not be more excited!!! Seriously. I even cried a little.
ReplyDeleteAll I've ever wanted!
ReplyDeleteIT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME THEY MAKE HIM A SERIES REGULAR!!!! DF;LKASDJF;LK AH MISHA WE'RE SO PROUD!!
ReplyDeleteThank god, I really needed that to happen. My baby in every episode... it makes me so happy! I WANT SEASON 9 NOW!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I love this news!!!
ReplyDeletei'm so happy :')
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Misha, Castiel and fellow fans! I wish Jared could direct too if he wants, and Jensen again, it would be a wrap! So happy with these news. Thank you, SPN for warming our hearts. You all definitely make my life brighter. Hope we can count a decade with the best series ever <3
ReplyDeleteCas is my favorite, so I'M SO HAPPY!
ReplyDeletepraise the carver for this
ReplyDeleteI suspect the Hell trials will finish up this season, but hopefully JC has more planned in this three-year arc than just having the trials and doors slamming shut (on all three fronts). Stories should build on each other - like the Apocalypse led to a power void in Heaven, which led to the Purgatory plan, which led to the Leviathans, etc. Whether the writers wipe their hands after giving Sam a few episodes and say they can shelve him for the remaining two seasons remains to be seen, but I don't think this decision about Misha has anything to do with that.
ReplyDeleteYEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, PRAISE DE LORRRRRRRRRRRD, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
ReplyDeleteHonestly the BEST news I've heard in a while! So excited!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy I could die! I love Misha, so proud of him :) Cant wait to see Cas as a regular again <3
ReplyDeleteSO HAPPY SO HAPPY SO HAPPY. YAY MISHA. CAS IS BACK. REGULAR. YAY. SO HAPPY.
ReplyDeleteFUCK YEAH! Misha is an amazing actor and Castiel is an amazing character. He is what makes a great series perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO FUCKING EXCITING. Made my day. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that ! I love Misha and I was sick to see his name appeared as a guest star ! He deserves it ! THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteSORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY FANGIRL SCREECHING
ReplyDeleteCAS IS A REGULAR
This made my day, my week, my month.... I can't explain in words how excited and happy I am that Misha will be returning as a series regular. His chemistry with Jared and Jensen, and to have Cas back on my screen more often with the boys is just.. wow, it feels like Christmas today! AMAZING news :D I am super excited to see what they have in store for us! I'm also very much looking forward to see Misha direct an episode, really don't know at all what to expect (as usual with Misha), but I'm sure it'll be great :)
ReplyDeleteI AM SO UNCONTROLLABLY HAPPY AND EXCITED THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER.
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for this to happen since the end of season five!
ReplyDeleteTHIS NEWS TURNED MY WHOLE DAY AROUND OH MY GOD YES
ReplyDeleteI'm so ecstatically happy about Misha and Castiel!! This is the best!!!
ReplyDeleteI HOPE HIS EPISODE HAS EVERYONE IN DRAG!
ReplyDeleteHell yeah! Never been so happy to hear that Misha is a regular again, he adds so much to the show.
ReplyDeleteI CANT EVEN GUYS IM SO FUCKING EXCITED IM GOING TO PUKE
ReplyDeleteSO EXCITED! :)
ReplyDeleteYesss... so glad I get to see Cas more :)
ReplyDeleteMISHA FUCKING COLLINS, IS A GOD.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy at this news! I have been grinning like an idiot since I heard. This just ups my excitement for season 9 even more!
ReplyDeletefghjhghj THIS IS GREAT!
ReplyDeleteThis made my entire week! Team Free Will for season 9!
ReplyDeleteYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES <3
ReplyDeleteI AM SO, SO HAPPY. I HAVE MISSED THE NERDY DUDE WITH WINGS.
ReplyDeleteHELL YEAH FUCKING RIGHT SON! This is exactly what the show needed! I mean, it's of course a nearly perfect show, but oh honey, we missed our nerdy angel. Congratulations to Misha, his family, and his friends! Thank you to the writers, producers, directors, everyone that made this possible, and thank you to Misha for sticking around as Castiel and bringing him to life in a way that only you can! We love you, Misha!
ReplyDeleteOh no, not again!
ReplyDeleteIf anything I'd say stories suffered as a result of NOT keeping him relevant. Godstiel and Leviathan Cas both could have been huge, huge stories, that would have had a huge impact on the lives of Sam and Dean. Angel wars would have had a huge impact on the lives of Sam and Dean. Instead, the show kept trying to cut ties to Cas and go back to stories about Sam's head pain or Sam being ill, or Sam and Dean fighting about plot devices like Amy Pond. These stories waste Jared and waste the Sam and Dean relationship.
ReplyDeleteIt's too expensive to bring someone in as a regular just for fanservice. This means they likely have some sort of specific plan for Cas, and his relationships with Sam and with Dean.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news! I love the emotional resonance Misha brings to the show as Cas, especially with Dean. And I have my fingers crossed he'll get to bond with Sam a little more as a regular (Sam's a lore geek and Cas witnessed human history firsthand; they NEED to compare notes and have discussions about the nature of the cosmos while Dean rolls his eyes).
ReplyDeleteYES PLEASE
ReplyDeleteI AM HAPPY
Whoopee! Best news I've had in a while! Can't wait to see more Cas/Misha on my screen!
ReplyDelete
