SAM, DEAN, CASTIEL AND MEG TEAM UP AGAINST CROWLEY AND HIS DEMONS — Castiel (Misha Collins) reappears in Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) life and tells them Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) has unleashed several demons into a small town. The demons are looking for Lucifer’s Crypt, which holds a valuable asset, but Castiel lies to Sam and Dean about what it is. While interrogating a demon, the three discover Crowley has been torturing Meg (guest star Rachel Miner), who knows the exact location of the crypt. Sam and Meg fight to hold Crowley off while Dean and Castiel go in search of the crypt. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (#817).

  5. Lucifer's crypt... I wouldn't think that he would have one as he would've been in hell, and then imprisoned in the first cage, and then with Micheal/Sam's soul again in the cage.... in any event, having Meg back to tease poor Cas should be a good time

  7. I can't believe they've kept Meg's return under wraps until now! This is going to be so good!

  8. I'm looking forward to Sam and Meg... reconnecting though. They do have the most history, after all, and that's gotten lost recently.

  11. Me too. Cas/Meg came out of Nowhere. Sam/Meg though, those two had something going in the past ;D That's gonna be interesting.

  12. This crypt thing better not be a retcon of the Cage or something.

  13. Suppose he did have time in Season 5 to create one. There's also the time before Lucifer rebelled and while he was creating demons, etc that he could have had the time to do so.

  14. Aw but I actually liked Cas/Meg! didn't think it came out of no where at all! I can't see Sam/Meg at all..

  15. It could very well just be something that was named "Lucifer's Crypt" and has nothing to do with Lucifer personally. Alternatively, it could be a sort of storage facility that Lucifer was using for whatever reason when he was top-side during Season 5, since the press release says it holds a valuable asset.

  16. Agreed. The sudden Meg/Everyone But Sam threw me for a loop. But everybody hates Sam now, so ... whatever.

  17. Maybe it's actually Lucifer's CRIB. It used to be his pad back in the day.

I was thinking about Meg the other day, she's good entertainment lol. Nice to see Crowley again, he's been a little meaner lately, so what the hell? literally.
I think in particular for Sam he will be a little bit pissed to hear the name Lucifer let alone some crypt, I hope he really does start expressing how he feels, in some distant future probably.
I wonder if Lucy or Mike will come back on the scene in the future or Adam, unusual to mention Satan's crypt, but that could be a title not the actual thing maybe.
When I heard Cas coming back my reaction was *celebrate!, our trench coat is back* but It was obvious he's probably a little screwed because of Naomi, he should get a get well magic card..
Sounds very interesting with this eppy.

  19. Lucifer's Crypt: Possibly a vault that contains infernal relics & weapons that were intended to aid Lucifer's Army during the Apocalypse but abandoned after his imprisonment in his Cage again. Since Meg was loyal to Lucifer, she would know of it. Perhaps it was also associated with Abbadon & the Knights of Hell. Crowley did previously discover the existence of an Angel Tablet. Perhaps the asset in Lucifer's Crypt is what he needs to Find It.

  22. Sam and Meg fighting to hold Crowley off? Now that sounds more like it. Hope there is more than just one scene of them working together, I liked their dynamic back in the early seasons before the writers had Meg ignore Sam and only talk to everyone else in the room.
Lucifer's Crypt? What is that all about
Naomi is probably still pulling Cas's little puppet angel strings so off course he's not going to be telling the truth about what it is he's there for. I wonder if it might be the Angel tablet? Or wuld that just be stupid?
One think I do expect is for Cas to notice what is going on with Sam, I would expect him to pick up on Sam's contract with God to complete the trials or at least to be concerned that Sam is do the trials aand what that could mean for him. A bit like how Anna could see there was something up with Sam in season 4 when he was drinking demon blood and she pointed out there was something different about him from the last time she's seen him. I expect there to be a discussion between Dean and Cas about Sam doing the trials.
Just please no retconning, silent Sam, Meg/Cas or sexual innuendo/tension between Dean and Cas.
And for Pete's sake dont tell anyone else about the MoL bunker.

  24. OMG Meg returns, I'm pretty exited now :))

  25. I can't see Meg/any of them really, because of Meg's history. But I just mean that at least Sam/Meg had more story that sadly just seemed to be forgotten. Especially Meg's badass villain days. Cas/Meg... I never really saw anything there, took me by complete surprised back then lol Many find it cute, though. I just didn't get the chemistry or anything, it was super sudden for me. Imagine if I would have been a destiel supporter back then when the kiss happened. I would have been so mad.

  26. Lol yeah, my opinion isn't the most popular one. But I guess I like the idea of at least /one/ demon being redeemable and that it'd take an angel's love to do it. Demons were humans once, after all, and yeah, i know they're corrupted beyond any hint of humanity, but Meg got closest for me. I've always enjoyed her character (again, unpopular opinion). Though yes.. I agree, it came all of a sudden, out of the blue, a complete shock. I think it hit Meg the same way too, and perhaps that has helped her find some sort of humanity again? No? Bah. Maybe I'm just seeing things.

  27. Here we go again. Separated brothers.

Whenever Castiel is around Sam gets kicked out of the way, usually to do something completely insignificant, in order to leave the centre stage for the Casteil/Dean couple. More woobie eying on the way!
Only positive is Crowley whom I hope is on his game and not dumbed down as he has been this season.
I wonder how much disregard of canon and continuity we'll get in this episode.
Maybe Sam will become allergic to his lap-top!

  28. Probably to chill when he was moonlighting as Jacob.

Maybe its a good thing, some fight others retrieve. I wouldn't think at this point they will go separate ways or team up, there would have to be a pretty good reason.

    I don't :)

  31. I don't mind in the least the brothers being separated when they have two different jobs to do in an epiosde, but whenever Castiel is present, Sam gets taken out of the action and sent to do something else.

It happens 99.9% of the time and it's so obvious now that it's annoying.

    X

Here it says that Dean and Castiel go in search of the Crypt but why does Castiel even need Dean along as he is so powerful?

The writers will have to come up with a way to hold back Castiel's powers again or to cover the Crypt with sigils so as to give the weaker Dean a chance to save the day.

I can see your point of view. I respect your opinions but I think the 'weaker' Dean is holding up pretty good, considering its only hell to worry about and Sam which is most important to him :)
I am a little skeptical that from what I read is Dean looking for the crypt. Sam knows Lucifer why isn't it him?. However, Sam might not be keen, understandably, besides I reckon it will be a good share for both of the brother's storyline. I can't judge until I see the episode, just predicting the best.
I think Cas need some-one because its likely he's barely powerful at moment from what we've seen so far.

Yes, its sometimes true that Cas can show a little bit more than Sam. Even though its about the brothers most importantly, it is nice to recognize other characters as well.
Sam's a complex but great character. He's introverted so its more challenging for him to speak out, but he takes up whatever must be done. I don't see of him been sent off when Cas is around. Even though in small portions, its good that they do interact.
Well I could ramble but it was nice talking.

  33. Sam and Dean get to do plenty in the Cas-less episodes of which there are many. And Cas is Deans friend so I don;t see th big deal.
