  1. As much as I loved Target/Hunt, I have to go with Tick, Tick, Tick.../Boom. It was the first one ever and it's stuck with me all these years. I remember Kate's apartment blowing up and everything.

Target/Hunt is my second favorite two parter, though. They were pretty intense!

  2. It just feels so wrong to call any of them fourth best, because they were all incredible.....

  3. Yesterday I would have said Tick...Tick...Tick... and Boom but not today. Target/Hunt all the way!!!!

  4. best question ever!! imo Target & Hunt

  5. I wouldn't say one's better than another, but the acting was the best it's ever been on the show. Nathan did what Stana did in 'Killshot' and completely nailed it. Can't wait to see what Miller and Marlowe give us for the 100th episode.

  6. I loved Pandora and Linchpin because it was a unique concept not tackled in any other series I've seen. The theory that killing one child could cause a world economic meltdown is something I've pondered for the last year.
However I do think the acting was better in Target and Hunt

  7. Today was really epic. But nothing compares to Tick tick tick Boom!

  8. Loved them all, but Tick/Boom was the first and sticks with me the most

  9. honestly tick tick tick and boom was great, but I liked Setup and Countdown, it really was the most Caskett centered. Tick and Boom they were almost like brother and sister, Pandora and Linchpin was more about Sophia and their past, Target and Hunt, nothing really Caskett, where Set up and Countdown they almost died in each others arms.

  10. Season 5 has left all the other two parters in the dust!

  11. The show's more than just about Caskett, you know.

  12. Unpopular opinion but Setup/Countdown for me...

  13. My ultimate problem with Linchpin/Pandora was it was too comic book. A man with godlike powers to predict the future, a traitor with a plan to destroy the world, and the ordinary people who fight them.

As for Target/Hunt, part of it just felt like an inorganic story line to me. Don't get me wrong, I liked them... but I felt like there were leaps in the story line.

So I gotta go with Tick, Tick, Tick.../Boom. I felt it really opened up the doors for the Castle/Beckett relationship. Also the woman who played the FBI agent... please have her return.

  14. loved em all....but Castles dad/Alexis and her grandfather had to be super awesome

  15. Not so unpopular, that was my choice too...until Target/Hunt!:)
For me the order is: Target/Hunt»Setup/Countdown»Tick,tick,tick/Boom»Pandora/Linchpin
But to be honest, I liked all of the two-parter:)

  16. To be honest Season 2 (Tick, Tick, Tick…/Boom!) with " Dana Delany as FBI agent " is always the best 4 me...!!! Season 3 (Setup/Countdown) also was great & on this Season 5 (Target/Hunt) excellent...!!!!
Castle Two-Parter Episodes always brings something fascinating, interesting, mysterious, complicated, full of mystery that keeps us guessing 2 the end,and yesterday we all experience it again.

  17. The name of the actress that play the "FBI agent on Tick, Tick, Tick.../Boom. " is Dana Delany ( now is on "body of proof" ABC, also), she is great as always.

  18. (Tick, Tick, Tick…/Boom!) for me.

Target & Hunt and Tic, Tic & Boom were the best in that order because both were personal. Both hit close to home for the DD. I'm a little surprised AWM hasn't touched those storylines more often, they alway raise the stakes. He could easily include Esposito, Ryan, Lanie and Gates as the object of revenge and immediately raise our pulse rates.

  21. Has to be the Dirty Bomb. Setup/Countdown. Some absolutely fantastic scenes in that episode. Followed closely by Pandora/Linchpin, Castle in the CIA, what more could you ask for. Target was a great episode too but I though Hunt was a bit of a let down.

  22. I seriously can't pick. I tried. I couldn't. I love them all!

  23. Cant really choose, they all had some really great moments, especially some early moments of caskett before we had them as a couple. all intense episodes with amazing acting and guest actors.

  24. Yeah from the lot Pandora/Linchpin is definitely the weakest.....

I have started developing a certain skepticism about the two parters, even though I do end up enjoying them as episodes. I think it's become a bit of an easy fall back gimmick for Feb sweeps.

  25. I absolutely loveed Target/Hunt but Tick, Tick, Tick/Boom was amazing. I mean Kate's apartment and everything. Loved it. But I also absolutely loved Linchpin/Pandora - I think its one of these episodes I watched a million times because of Kate's jealousy part at the autopsy
