I'm going to go on record saying I feel very, very, very guilty for wanting Amanda to die. It was sad. I have a couple of questions coming out of this episode. Was that supposed to be Padma's father's hand in the box? Also, was there more history behind the necklace than what was shown in this episode?
****, I cried like a baby during the end. Oh poor Amanda... with Ems and Nolan she was my most favourite charachter, really gonna miss her :-/ I didn't vote for "Amanda dies" coz it wasn't my "favourite" scene it was definitely the most emotional one. I've gone with the flashback one coz when Amanda in the past said, "I love you," and the Ems in present said, "I love you, too," it srsly got me. I'd say that this was the best ep of the 2nd season and probably it's in the Top 5 eps overall. And now?!?! 2 weeks hellatus!! Kidding, right?! F**king ABC puts Revenge (w/ OUAT) against Grammy and the Championship or whatever and now?! HIATUS?! I mean is this like real or is this network realy f**ked up?!
I found Amanda annoying and distracting. I didn't feel she contributed to the show that much. She was basically doing the same types of things that Emily was doing season one but with less panache - redundant but in a more in your face obnoxious way. I also found that her voice made me want to stab myself in the ear with a pencil. I can only hope that her death will provide an opportunity for some of these scattered story lines to converge.
Emily's titanic moment, it was incredible. Emily Van Camp sold it so well, I think it was reaction that left me so emotional, not Amanda's demise in itself. Also, the sweet little moment when Amanda sees Emily on the boat "Emily!". I liked it a lot looking at it now as it shows how much they relied on one another and how relieved she was to see emily there.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

only thing that anoyed me was how emily and Nolan could know jack wasn't on the boat...I mean, it couldn't have been showing on the laptop...
ReplyDeleteNow the question... When will Nate finish his dowload and go back to serie as a Cylon?

ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is a coincidence, but "All along the watchtower" has been stuck in my head the past few days, and I'm not joking.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that too.
