    Great episode. Loved Raylan and Boyd ending up in the same cage...."Hello, Raylan," out of the corner of the cell. I love seeing those two together. Loved Shelby...the worm has turned and is saving EllieM. Jim Beaver's great! Liked Raylan taking Josiah for a 'walk'.

    Gotta say, I do wish Raylan would shave and wash his hair. Maybe get a trim. I think Graham Yost said this is something Tim O. just decided to do, but I'm wondering if there's more meaning to it than that.

    Best episode of a truly terrific season. So many wonderful guest stars and great moments. The Raylan and Boyd scenes were magnificent I love how they are dealing with the crap that their fathers were involved with. Always so many parallels with them.


    Shelby and his plan to take down Boyd, as well as Wynn Duffy and Johnny own plans means everyone is circling for Boyd and he has no clue. Going to make for an explosive finale I think.


    Tim and Colt was another nice parallels and I loved Tim explaining the books he reads to Raylan. Hilarious stuff but also tinged with sadness because as Art said in episode 2 Tim has PTSD and could flip at any time.

    I think Raylan's appearance is meant to show how is has lost control of his life a little. Ever since Winona left him back in S3 he has been in free fall. I mean he basically lives above a bar, had to take moonlighting jobs, lost his money to his new girl, has so many daddy issues and even if he won't show it fears about becoming a father. He is a bit of a mess right now.

    Brilliant episode!! I loved all the Raylan/Boyd scenes and the whole hill people plot. Awesome ending. I didn't think this season was going to be this good after three perfect seasons, but so far it's on the same level with any other season..

    That's what I thought, too, so I was a little surprised when Yost just passed it off as Tim's preference. I think you're right, though.

    Idk what the hell was going on with FX but i recorded the episode at 10pm and when i was watching the episode on Wednesday it was half way done and i didnt see the beginning of the episode?
