Literally squealed at the Full House, tbh. LOL at Dave Coulier appearing.
I cannot believe Ted is that much of an idiot to keep dating her, but I'm glad Narrator!Ted acknowledges it was a mistake. But yeah, he really needed to dump her.
I really wish they had kept Marshall and Lily's meeting as is, but that was cute. And we already knew she had crazy eyes, so it fits.
Every single Barney/Robin moment was adorable, tbh. They're such a cute couple! Playing with hair! My fiancee! Barney being worried that she had a stalker. Sitting together on the couch.
Haha actually a pretty good episode! Was hoping for that after the complete travesty of the last episode. Although I must admit, I just about found Dave Coulier's comments to be the best of the episode lol. Alanis Morisette AND a Full House reference -- very funny!
I loved it, Robin Daggers is awesome, P.S. I Love You rocks and my love for Barney & Robin just keeps growing with every passing day they are so adorable. The guest stars was so funny loved all of them. I must rewatch this soon to really have it settle in.
I can believe it. The guy is the last single guy amongst his group of friends, and is getting impatient (and really, that impatience started in as early as Season 3, I think), so at this point he's ready to manufacture his own destiny. Plus the girl kind of worships Ted, so that's probably hard for him to walk away from without trying it first.
I think the best part of this episode for me was the guest stars - Alex Trebek, Dave Coulier, Jason Priestley... so much fun! I enjoyed Robin Daggers too, of course haha
Even when Robin Sparkles 4: The Dagger, was awesome and took most of the episode -OMG those guest stars!! And gringe being invented in Canada in the 96 XD-, Ted's story (and how nicely it framed all the plots) and final twist my favorite, huge WTF moment. Ted is definitely at ropes' end.
This is going to be one crazy -maybe even dark- ride for Ted and I'm really intrigued.
I loved it, but they should have concentrated on Robin Sparkles this ep, there was too much Ted for my liking. He is so stupid sometimes, no wonder he doesn't have a girl yet ;)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely was a good episode though.
One of the best (funny) music video ever made. The guy with the music box was hilarious. It was a great way to start my evening

Getting Coulier to reference the Morisette thing (albeit vaguely) is pretty geniuis.
ReplyDeleteDid they imply Lily liking girls again? lol
