  1. Best episode of Castle EVER!!!! Didn't like how we didn't get a Caskett kiss though :(

  2. Kate dilemma and sloppy police work almost cost her everything. I loved how Castle tackled the perp in the end! Way to go Castle!

  3. Yes but there were many hand holding and lots of scenes at Kate's apt. and the almost ending had Rick and Kate relaxing in her apt with wine.

  4. Somehow I expected more from this Episode, but is was ok.

  5. I have to say this episode was poor poor poor.. the music was sooo loud I could not hear the whispers and even at the end the drama music overpowered the entire story,, a real big bummer I wanted to hear the words. Some one forgot to do some editing...

  6. Everything was perfect about this episode..
The best part when Castle and Beckett wee searching through those letters "I remembered the scene from the first Episode when they did that"

  7. I really like this one! So intense.

  8. Loved the episode and how they didn't portray Kate as a perfect person. I liked how she struggled and didn't make the right decision at first but ultimately did what was right.
The only complaint I have is that I wanted to see more of Gates reaction to hearing Beckett tell the suspect about all Bracken has done. There's no one she believes Beckett was just playing him after seeing the tension between Bracken and Beckett throughout the case.

  9. Worst Episode ever! I spent a hour to watch Kate save that SOB? No I'm not happy about this at all this story line needs to end NOW!

  10. That was an incredible episode from beginning to end! I loved the way the writers juggled with Beckett's feelings versus work ethics, making it an amazing plotline!

I didn't miss Caskett scenes this time, since I know (hope, actually) that 514 will have plenty of 'em.

  11. Hmmm. I didn't have that problem at all. A few weeks ago my station didn't have sound at all during Castle. Maybe, like with my sound issue, is was your station/service provider that had a sound problem.

  12. Amazing episode! Among the bests ever, IMO!
It showed a more mature Kate, a human person with twisted feelings, but being able to face them and do the right thing; it was her work to save that man´s life and so she did. And I can´t wait to see where this leads.
And the scenes between Bracken and Kate? Amazing, fabulous acting!!

  13. I completely agree, your opinions are always relevant, and with accuracy

  14. I cant believe ppl are complaining still *rolls eyes* To each his own i guess.
For me the episode was remarkable. Kate;s dilemna and her confrontrations with Bracken. Just wow. Stana nailed it. Jack Coleman was awesome too. He plays such a juicy villian. Just like Castle "I would have stood there and watched" too but that's all the more reason why Kate Beckett is so admirable. AHHH JUST LOVED IT !

  15. I'm with you about Gates. When she came into the room I was certain it was cause she wanted to talk to Beckett about what she just told

  16. This was an excellent episode! It had me hooked the entire time! I love the mythology of Beckett's mother's murder episodes. :)

  17. So very well done! Fast paced, full of great dialogue, tension (but not between our duo, they are solid now!!)-- great twists and turns. Loved Castle at the end, esp. when he twinkled at Bracken after saying he'd have stood and watched Bracken die. This was my favorite episode this season.

Who are those people thinking this episode was awful? Or poor? Go watch it again! It was amazing! No kiss, but that's ok. Sometimes holding hands says so much more... And I'm pretty sure we get some really sweet Caskett moments in next week's Valentine's episode. Bring it on ABC!

  19. You're outraged that Beckett managed to control her need for vengeance and took the moral high-ground? That she got through this with her integrity intact, and found the real murderer even though it cost her emotional pain?

Speaking for myself, it was a great relief that Beckett came through this even stronger, that she didn't let Bracken drag her into the mud and make her less than she is.

(Just listen to Castle's voice when he says he couldn't (wouldn't) have done what she did, saving Bracken: he is so PROUD, even awed, that she was stronger than that! I just love that moment so much.)

  20. i really liked the letter part too because it was at least some kind of caskett moment. but i am desperately waiting for more, they should really give us a nice sappy caskett moment.

  21. Easy... fans of other shows or people who are so obssesed by physical scenes that can´t see far from it:)

  22. but instead of just ending, it thickened as we saw other corrupt politicians come out of the wood work. Plus, now Bracken owes Beckett and that will make for much more interesting story in the future. Beckett is hunting the truth, not just a way to take a guy out or get vengeance. She became a cop on principle, and to find her mothers killer. This episode tested which of those two agendas was still fueling her efforts as a detective, and allowed her to flush out which was more important and truly motivating her. This was a good episode for story and character development. Castle was patient and supportive and Beckett grew and matured. Everyone did a fine job and I'm very glad they added this chapter to the Castle cannon. It was needed and the timing for it was great.

  23. So I voted Awesome =)
This episode was really really great, Stana's acting is perfection, I loved her confrontation with bracken : "in my dreams, I'm the one who pull the trigger " ------> THIS LINE IS A KILLER

Espo/ryan worried and concerned, that was great too
Nice to see Bracken's scar !! Wish Kate would have joked about it though ^^
When I saw Kate protecting the guy who killed her mom, I thought, man, that must be so hard !!
She hide evidence ! OMG this was brilliant, I was so surprised, and I'm glad that she talked about it with Castle
Castle saying, I would'nt have done what she did ----> Priceless =D

Just one negative point for me : I wish we had more caskett , I know this wasn't an episode for it, but still, in 2x23 or 3x13, they managed to do it, here something was missing

Anyway I know that next week is Valentine's day episode, so there'll be a lot of caskett =)

  24. Awesome all the way....!!!! This season has had its "casualties", but with episodes like today, gives us the extent that we still have the best show on Monday ...!!

  25. i really believe that there some commentators who never watch castle but they come here to write negative things about the show, really, and I know who they are.

  26. That scene popped in my head too when Beckett asked Bracken to send the letters over to the precinct. I imagined and part of me hoped at at one point, Castle would look over one of the letters at Beckett with admiration and love. Which makes me wonder why they weren't wearing gloves last night like they did in the pilot. Different circumstances?

  27. There was no hand holding, all we got was a brief arm touch.

  28. valentines next week, so....

  29. I'm already sick of people complaining about this episode. It was fantastic. The level of comfort and trust between C+B was our Caskett moments. They cannot make out and entire episode. If they did the show would be canceled because there would be no story and nothing to keep us coming back for. So thats fine to say wistfully, cause sure we love our Caskett scenes, but lets be serious. They're relationship is very realistic. Beckett having to protect the Senator was our conflict, it raised the stakes and created turmoil in Beckett and she had to choose to overcome her feelings and fight for their victim and be a good cop, like the badass we've all come to love. Then people complaining about Castle telling her that the facts pointed to their suspect and to let it go being out of character, true he usually would be with her going with his gut and following the story not the evidence. But Castle also has motivations for wanting them to move on from the case, be done with Bracken, and as he stated he wouldn't have saved Bracken. If you are complaining about this episode, you dont really like Castle and if you are saying the writing was sloppy you really dont know as much about plot and character as you think you do.

  30. So ther will be a lot of kisses in Valentines episode :P

  31. You are talking about physical contact. Hand holding is being emotionally available to your partner. Kate did that in Spaces in this episode. So sorry for your confusion.
