The Fox comedy has tapped former House actress Odette Annable to play a potentially recurring love interest for Jake Johnson’s Nick, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Annable will portray Shane, a perky and preppy management school grad who is Nick’s new boss at the bar. Per the casting notice for the role, Shane “unabashedly” starts having a fling with her new charge.

ReplyDeleteAwesome news sans the roadblock for Nick/Jess. I like Odette and she was one of my favorite parts about House's last season.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and I'm obviously in the minority there but I kinda prefer things to stay "will they/ won't they" kind of relationship between them
ReplyDeleteI'm probably with you there too, I only started watching this show over Christmas so I wasn't really aware that Nick/Jess had such a big following until this past episode.
