Synopsis - NASHVILLE - "Dear Brother" - Juliette plans a surprise birthday party for Deacon, which is attended by real-life country stars Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Vince Gill, Pam Tillis, Kate York and Kip Moore. During the celebration, Rayna sings, backed up by Pam Tillis and Kate York as themselves, Watty White (JD Souther) and Adria (Erin McCarley). However, Juliette's own performance is derailed by her mother. As Rayna and Teddy's divorce moves forward, the tabloids move in, speculating about Rayna's cheating and thrusting her children into the spotlight; Teddy decides to bring Peggy into his mayoral fold and holds a press conference to make it look like it's all business; and Gunnar's brother charms Scarlett with his singing, on "Nashville," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET) on ABC. ReplyDeleteThat's probably Liam and Rayna, not Rayna and Deacon, they have no proof they kissed in the elevator (unless they have cameras?). But Deacon will probably be the one to be hunted by the tabloids especially because he had a trouble past with Rayna. And I bet Lamar is not stranger to this situation with all this tabloids thing. And if the kids are involved, Maddie and Deacon better not listen the radio or the TV or even read magazines for a while xD

I think the tabloids would be far more interested in Rayna and Deacon, because of their long, long history and past, long time love affair, than, in a fling, if it even is a fling, with Liam.
ReplyDeleteHow would R&D prove that their intimate relationship hadn't been ongoing, or, at some point, reignited? Especially, since, they had remained professional partners, and close friends.
Much as I love R&D, together, a case could be made for their having an emotional affair, all these years.
Hopefully, if Deacon is Maddie's Daddy, she won't get a clue, from tabloid, or media speculation, but, if they start digging into R&D's past, how big of a stretch is it, to wonder about Maddie's paternity?
I won't be one iota surprise, if Daddy, somehow has a hand in the tabloid thing.
Incidentally, in hotels like the tour group is staying in, security is a Huge issue. Elevators would, almost certainly, have video surveillance, especially, elevators accessing the penthouse floors.
WoooHooo for Rayna singing at the party; now, she needs to also take the Birthday boy home!!
