Former Battlestar Galactica badass Tricia Helfer has landed the lead in Killer Women, ABC’s drama pilot about the only female in the male-dominated Texas Ranger Division, TVLine has learned.
Based on the Argentine series Mujeres Asesinas, the project — which counts Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara among its producers — finds Helfer playing Molly Parker, a beautiful and ballsy Ranger who knows how to get the truth and isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers on her way there.

Sounds like a role well suited to her, would be nice to see Tricia back on TV again.
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't even one of my favorites from BG, not at all, especially as I could not stand Head Six during the first couple of seasons. But she was still very good at it, so this alone will make me give the pilot a shot if it makes it to ABC
ReplyDeleteWell, it looks like I finally have a reason to flip to channel 2!
ReplyDeleteNow if they could just get rid of the terrible name...
There's gotta be something more subtle than "killer women" O_O
I really hope they change that dumb title.
ReplyDeleteThis is produced by Sofia Vergara? I don't know if I have confidence if this will be good.
Anyway, love Tricia.
Would be nice to see Tricia Helfer on screen again, but I don't know how I feel about the premise and the title, but if it's good, it's good. Here's to hoping.
ReplyDeleteWill Chuck Norris show up as a cameo?
