    Once Upon a Time there was this thing that we used to call a FUCKING 30 SECOND LONG PROMO OF CASTLE!!!!!!!!
    WHY ARE THEY MAKING THESE PROMOS SO SHORT LATELY???????

    It was NEVER going to be enough no matter what they showed us. Just as long as there isn't another "disaster" between now and next week I'm happy to wait. So many times I have got to this point and there is either a natural disaster or someone shoots up a school and they take the episode off because of "content unbecoming the situation". Pray for a quiet week!

    This episode went by way too fast. One minute Castle was joking and the next, he's already out of control. Best. Television. Ever. I still felt it was too short.

    Hence the reason for two parts. It went by in a flash. I think ABC should have a two hour event instead of two parts, but I guess it would go until midnight so...

    LOL! I just wrote in in the poll that the Paris twist reminded me of the "Taken" movie and wondered if Castle was going to pull a Liam Neeson and to hear Ryan say "What is he, Liam Neeson?" just cracked me up! And to now finally meet Papa Castle! This is gonna be a twisty one for sure!

    if you check for ABC's Youtube channel or TVPromos they frequently have the longer promos. The problem is that hour series have had their run times picked away over the years to make way for more commercials. When I was a kid you got 50-55 minutes of story...now we are lucky if we get 42. To compensate they've gotten rid of the opening credit sequence and the promo has been cut to 15 seconds.

    Every time I read reports about the showrunner being asked about when/if we'd touch on the concept of Castle's father...he played it majorly close to the vest. Wow. It never occurred to me that this would be the framework of getting more info on him. whoa.

    Can't wait to see Castle go all Liam Neeson. Soooo excited! Like when he tortured the get away driver last night.... Edge of my seat. I love when characters go a little dark to save someone they love.
