At a conference today, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has revealed that Arrested Development won’t return to the service for another season after this one. Hit the jump for more details.
Although series creator Mitch Hurwitz has previously hinted at the possibility of additional seasons on Netflix, Hastings described the upcoming fourth season to investors today as a “one-off” that came about under “non-repeatable” circumstances. The company later expanded upon Hastings’ comments to the Wall Street Journal (via The Verge), noting that it would be “extremely difficult to get the cast together” for another season.

I always thought that was the case and if it did well then the movie would finally happen.
