  1. If Elementary isn't renewed, I lose all faith in CBS.
NCIS, NCIS LA and Modern Family are all sure ins

  2. From the list, I believe the 1st to be rewed will be Modern Family, and then probably both NCIS...I just hope Castle is renewed too, and the fast the better:)

  3. I dont care which order as long as both NCIS NCIS Los angels and castle gets renewed

  4. Dont know
I think everything will be left late again, I certainly dont see CW doing any early renewals at least not before April.
On the list I can see maybe Grimm getting an early renewal and pretty soonish and CBS maybe renewing a bunch of shows.
I cant remember but dont ABC usually takes ages to renew their shows?

  5. All these shows will be renewed, I think CBS will renew several shows at the same time (Both NCIS Criminal Minds, CSI Vegas, Elementary..)

  6. Mike and Molly, ratings have been terrific again this season!

    Agreed. It's kinda blind guess.

  8. I dont care which order as long as both NCIS NCIS Los angels and castle gets renewed [2]

  9. I hope CSI NY is renewed. It has been an awesome season 9 and deserves another season!

  10. SPN. The CBS shows will probably follow after that.

  11. Grey's Anatomy, without a doubt.

  12. Castle HAS TO BE for so many reasons!

  13. It seems like CBS is usually earlier than most to renew shows so I say NCIS but really I don't expect to hear anything until we are a lot closer to May upfronts. Then things will be renewed in batches.

  14. Its a little early to be predicting but Elementary is doing so well i'll go with that.I have an opinion on the others but i'll wait for the Upfronts in May..

  15. Why isn't Law and order SVU on the this list, no list says it's in danger of being cancelled.

  16. It is. "Other - Leave Comment"

  17. Castle makes no sense at all, people are just voting for what they wish to happen. First, ABC tends to announce renewals later than other nets such as FOX or NBC which typically give early pickups to some of their series (see Bones). Also, ABC usually announces renewals together. Last year, they renewed Grey's, Once, Revenge, Castle, Middle, Suburgatory and MF all together I think, which were their most obvious renewals. Not only isn't castle as obvious of a renewal as it was last year (though it will still be renewed), but even if it was, it would still come at the same time as the other (and bigger) ABC hits.

I think this is very hard to predict, but I expect something from NBC, possibly Grimm when it comes back from hiatus. Doubt we will have many early renewals this year, except for CBS. CBS will typically announce all the obvious renewals together early on.

  18. Yeah, ABC usually takes a long time to renew them, even though two seasons ago they did give some early renewals to their veterans, but I believe that was because there was nothing they could salvage from that season. Their only newbies renewals were spring entries Body of Proof and Happy Endings, so we will typically have to wait more. I agree with the Grimm prediction, but it is kind of a wild guess.

NCIS is a shoe in , they had record setting numbers for their two parter, no other show is anywhere near them.

  20. PARENTHOOD!!!!!! Every. Single. Year. It's unknown. While I of course want my other shows on this list (NCIS, Castle, Mike & Molly, The New Normal, CSI) and not on this list to be picked up, I think a majority of them are a given for renewals. But I'm sure I'm not the only Parenthood fan who, ever since season 2, has seen it end early then wondered if it had been renewed until NBC either released their fall schedule or announced it.

  21. No, I am sure all ABC renewals from last year came in May, very very close to the upfronts. There was like 1 day interval or something beween the ones I have announced and the bubblish ones like Bop, PP, Scandal, Happy Endings, LMS and Apartment 23, which came out individually and not as a group. And Castle was i the larger loft that got the first wave of renewals.

  22. Nope its nothing to brag about.NCIS of course will be picked up that's a given for Grimm,Greys, CSI LV, and NCIS LA. I'm sure i missed a few.I didn't say the ratings were out of this world,i meant it is doing better than most people expected. When this show was first announced the majority poo pooed it,dismissed it out right before it was even on air,i think its doing well enough to be picked up.Unless the numbers drop further and consistently do this in my opinion it will be renewed..... I could be wrong, look how i felt about Last Resort and i was wrong!

  23. You're right about ABC - they seem to like making their showrunners squirm with the waiting. Like, all the shows listed for ABC are obvious renewals, but last year they held up announcements for upfronts (and probably figuring out if they were canceling anything. ;) )

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm guessing CBS will announce Elementary in order to show they are confident about and commited to that show.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The only reason I didn't vote Grimm is because it doesn't come back until March. I'm sure it will hold up in the ratings, but I can't see NBC officially renewing it until it has had 1-2 new episodes. I am sure it will get renewed, just not before some of the other shows.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Since they closed the deal recently with modern family cast, I'm sure a long term renew is not far ahead.

    ReplyDelete
  27. See I think all of this lot will be renewed at the same time in mid-March. Along with H50, Criminal Minds... and so many more.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think it will be renewed but actually, even though it got its fair of hate due from hardcore sherlock friends, elementary was expected to be the next big thing for cbs, and no one was expecting scandal to started beating it. I say it is performing below expectations, although this is a very subjective thing, and i respect your opinion that it is performing better than expectations. At the end of the day, it will still be renewed though

  29. Never say never, it gets good ratings.

  30. I choose Supernatural but I hope they renew Castle & NCIS as well

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm thinking Supernatural? Heh, I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yep, that sounds about right

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, like I said, I just remember not knowing if we'd get a season 5 when "Always" aired. I might be mixing articles on ABC's mass renewal with CBS's (my memory's much flakier than it should be fora 26 year old).

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, CBS did a mass renewal earlier on for most of its shows. For May, CBS only left the canceled Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, Rob, NYC 22 and CSI Miami, as well as bubbles CSI NY, Rules of Engagement and Two and a Half Men (the later for contractual issues).

    ReplyDelete
  35. Seeing that I strong believe all of them will eventually be renewed, I can't really seem to care who will be next....

    ReplyDelete
  36. I didn't bother with the gimmies. (Castle, NCIS,Mike and Molly, and Elementary) I picked Grimm....

    ReplyDelete
  37. Really Castle has 8.5 Million Hard core fans! Tell me what other show has that rabid a fan base?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Unforgettable was not cancelled but placed in the summer rotation.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think he is talking CSI the original not Vegas the mob show. If that's right I think it will come back. I do agree with you that Vegas the mob show will NOT be back given it has some of the lowest demos on CBS for scripted fare.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm pretty sure I read that Unforgettable was cancelled but then it got picked up again later when they decided they needed summer fare.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well there's Big Bang Theory, American Idol, NCIS, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy and....basically dozens more. Heck, even Blue Bloods repeats on Friday nights reach almost 8 million. Castle has absolutely no fear of cancellation this year but it's definitely NOT the biggest TV hit. It's not even the biggest hit on ABC. People often confuse the online fandom with the overall TV watching population.

    ReplyDelete
  42. That's correct, it was officially cancelled but got unusually uncancalled

    ReplyDelete
  43. Again, thanks for answering, I agree ;)

    ReplyDelete
  44. NCIS should be. How I Met Your Mother just got it's renewal today. I think they are waiting on Mark Harmon- contract is up this year.

    ReplyDelete
  45. You are not considering the facts. Look at the lowest episode and an then look at was sort of advertisement was used. Then compare. What I said will be true. 8.5 Million fans will watch no matter what. That is with no advertisement. or any promotion what so ever. Not many shows could do that. You take away the advertisements for all CBS shows and see what happens.
