CBS has cast its first series regular in the buzzy summer drama Under the Dome.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates star Colin Ford has been tapped to play Joe, a teenager in Chester's Mill, the small New England town that is suddenly and mysteriously sealed off by an enormous transparent dome.

  2. Well, I'll definitely be checking it out now. Hopefully it'll do well enough to go for a while. The only downside is if he's a regular, even in a summer series, it might not leave him open to guest in Supernatural or Revolution which would be a shame.

  3. Good for him. I'm glad he has the opportunity to further his career. I was always going to watch this show given my affinity for Stephen King in high school but now I have even more incentive.

  6. Nice casting for Joe. But everything actually hangs on the Barbie casting. I hope they find someone with the correct gravitas.
    Too
    bad Supernatural still runs, as Jensen Ackles would make a good Barbie.
    I hope they'll also cast someone age-appropriate for Julia, and not
    make her younger.
