ReplyDeleteher job. I think that one of the show's crew posted something about it (a pic of one of the scripts I believe where someone offers Lisbon a new job)

ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought. It would be interesting. What would Jane think? Who else could handle him? But if she's somewhere else maybe she'll be safe...so many questions.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly won't go, but it could cause some nice emotional anguish- it's needed from time to time, and with Red John in the mix- sounds like a great episode.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Jane's refused to work for the CBI unless he works for Lisbon, but that was her being made to leave. How would he react if she left voluntarily? Also, does anyone have access to this picture they can provide?

ReplyDeleteThis might be the start of those "discovering feelings" spoilers actually happening...hmmm...I honestly thought they were just trolling us on that, but this could be a part of that.
ReplyDeleteI have always speculated that Stiles and Red John have a common origin story. Stiles went on to start a cult, and well, Red John went on to become a killer. But they seem to possess similar skills. And I guess you could call Red John's network of "friends" sort of a cult, a rather exclusive one. It seems as though that's how it's going to turn out to be.
ReplyDeleteI'M EXCITED ABOUT THAT TOO BUT THE SECOND PART IS THE MORE UNEXPECTED PART LIKE I'VE ALWAYS SAID AT SOME POINT THEY NEED TO DO ORIGINS OF RJ SO OF COURSE I'M EXCITED ABOUT THAT BUT I CONSIDER THE SECOND PART A TWIST SO I'M MORE INTERESTED IN THAT AT THE MOMENT.

ReplyDeleteI just thought of that too! She realizes she's sacrificing a higher career path for Jane...and she realizes she has feelings for him.
ReplyDeleteThough I honestly hope she'll ultimately decide to stay because of *all* them, not just Jane. They've been so protective of her, they're all like a little family, so I hope if she stays because of how she feels about Jane, she's also staying because of how she feels about Cho, Rigsby, and Pelty.

ReplyDeleteLisbon! I hope she doesn't go anywhere. She's the best! I wonder if it's a promotion? I wish this would lead to her discovering feelings for Jane like Bruno said at the beginning of the season. We haven't seen it yet. or if we did, I missed it. Jane and Lisbon are the shiz. And a meaty RJ bit too! Tom wrote 'Red Dawn' which I love for so many reasons. So I'm hoping for awesomeness. Bring it.
ReplyDeleteWhy not? I wrote a fic where Lisbon got fed up with watching Jane get obsessed with RJ. She told him she didn't want to watch him sell his soul for the monster and he told her there was nothing she could do. She said there was and then on Monday he stopped by to find her office empty.
ReplyDeleteGranted then I had RJ kill someone and force Lisbon to come back a year later but hey, that's what fanfics are for!

ReplyDeleteThe new ep sound promising, but i'm very curious on way all the secrecy lately about the new ep's. We had allot more spoilers at the beginning. And I sincerely hope we are going to get some concrete info on RJ this time. I think Stiles old partner ( the dead one) is connect to RJ or he is RJ.
ReplyDeleteThe little looks and smiles between Jane and Lisbon are nice, but they are not the Jisbon we are expecting. I don't think is going to happen yet, not that I don't want it to, because I really do, but I don't think our love birds are ready.
They did say in this season Jane is getting closer to Red John
ReplyDeleteIf it's a new job for Lisbon I guess they offer her Wainwrights position. After she got such a big fish like Volker arrested CBI must have to shine in glory and Bertram too and we don't know if this position was already taken.
ReplyDeleteI suffer from writer's block at the moment, but I managed to write some snippets last night, so maybe the knot is loosening- and I have two endless weeks for a tag, so I'm sure I'll write something ;D!
ReplyDeleteThe red john story is dragging on too long. I really hope the show ends after season 6.
ReplyDeleteRed john is virgil minnelli. That is definately my guess on it.
All the clues seem to indicate it. The episode with the blood on the
wall in season 1, stating "he is man" is probably minelli misspelt. also
in that same episode, he supposedly goes on vacation, and then rj
hacking into the cbi mainframe and interacting with jane.
Also, the way he abruptly leaves the cbi in season 2- most likely wanting to escape.
Season 3-when jane goes to investigate the rj storyline, he enlists the help of no other than minelli.
Finally, gregory itzin who plays minelli, is known for playing shady
deceptive characters. I mean look at his tremendous performance as a
corrupt president on 24.
Anyway, thats my theory and guess as to who is red john. the whole
bob kirkland and brett stiles appear to red herrings that will continue
to decept viewers in order to expand the red john storyline...
