I apologize for the last-minuteness of this article. I would imagine that reading a preview of an episode an hour or two prior to the airing of said episode does not amount to ideal timing. Regardless, I hope that this whets your appetite for Suits-related information!
While
the mid-season premiere Blind-Sided served as a new beginning for Suits’ fantastic cast of
characters, opening up the second half of its second season, Blood in
the Water serves as the first half’s conclusion. Specifically, it allows
the remaining bad blood between Louis and Harvey to play itself out. Harvey has found himself in a particularly
vulnerable place post-rejection, which lends itself well to his sudden almost
irrational hatred of Louis, who, despite being somewhat deserving of Harvey's
scorn, certainly doesn’t deserve this much.
Meanwhile, while Harvey loses his cool, Mike begins to "get his shit together".
I very much
enjoyed that this episode’s case-of-the-week integrated itself much
more strongly into the plot than usual. Allison Holt - who may or may
not be working with and/or for Hardman - has begun to poach the very
best that Pearson Hardman has to offer. This includes both its
employees and its clients. HILARITY and drama ensue.
Stray Observations:
Harold is silly :).
Remember how Harvey hired a new associate last episode? Yeah. I didn’t either.
There's more Mike and Rachel nonsense drama. Enjoy that.
I won’t say anything else except that I think we should be very wary of Harvey’s ambition.
