They are treating this reboot a lot like a pilot premiere. I was hoping that they would focus on the broadway behind the scenes and the great original music. But this first hour is more pop and push-up bras and continually failing to convince me that not 1 but now 2 Idol alums can sing *and* act. The best part was the new guy, but that shouldn't surprise, he actually is broadway.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThis is now available in the US iTunes store too (under Season 2, not a podcast as they normally release freebies).

ReplyDeleteAgreed, I want to see what they said the show would be about: backstage Broadway. But at least Jennifer Hudson manages to pull it off.
