*jaw dropping" I don't even know where to start! First, why does it seems like Olivia and Edison are still together? I thought her "goodbye Edison" in last epsiode was permanent and meant "I'm breaking up with you". And now he's standing in her livingroom and asking "what's going on with us?". Well, dude, you threatened her with some serious acusations! I kind of like how she doesn't deny or confirm his speculation, she doesn't want to disown her relationship with Fitz just like that. Now I'm even more curious what she's gonna say, though I kind of hope she just kicks him out of there. And I really think Edison will call her "a criminal, a whore, an idiot and a liar" as the title says. Can't wait!

  2. Edison is smart.

Hell, I'm Team Edison and she deflected her way through that. A lot of people were saying they were team Edison until he went all political on her. Maybe she NEEDED that b/c frankly, she needs to be checked at times and when Edison goes all "lovers scorned" on her, I won't feel sorry, not one damn bit.

She's not gonna quit her job and sit and look after Fitz's every move. Liv is unhappily secluded in this box where she and Fitz are at a distance but, if they weren't, would they be together? Their words be damned? I honestly don't think it'd last.

If she smack hauled off on Fitz like she did Edison after a fight or two, he'd find someone on the side, they'd drift apart.

I'm tired of people forgetting Amanda Tanner!

  3. ...but they were true. that's why he's still there. idg why ppl hate Edison. She's lying to HIM. He wanted more than casual sex and she said she did to, so I'd feel some type of way if I had to get in my significant other's sh!t with them lying to my face.

  4. The show is Olitz...their relationship is central to everything else that is going on. I agree that Edison will eventually prove to be a scorned lover and want vengeance on Olivia for playing him the fool. The bottom line is that Olivia and Fitz long to be together but the situation dictates that they cannot without serious collateral damage. It's going to be fun watching this unfold...dirty little secrets always come out...

You mean, their(Liv and Edison) relationship was true or those names are true referring to Olivia? Not sure which one. I didn't hate Edison before, I was indifferent towards him, but after previous episode I can understand the hate. He literally threatened to prosecute Liv to the fullest extent of the law. Sure, we can argue that she deserves that for her actions but Edison wasn't even sure what was going on and said those words to his girlfriend, to whom he also promised he's all in. And from my perspective it really felt like he was going to do this. Yes, she's lying to him about POTUS being woken up, but so to the rest of the world. Edison is not in their inner circle, so I wasn't expecting Liv to tell him. And she's always very protective of her work, gives other as little information as possible and Edison knows that. Sure, Liv sometimes uses him but until last week he seemed fine with that. He could have separeted their personal lives from professional. But Olivia never lied to him about personal subject. When she said she's all in, I think she meant that. She thought Fitz was serious about letting her go and she wanted to move on and really try to be with Edison. She had feeling for him, just not as strong as for Fitz. And while being with Ed she wasn't messing around with Fitz or anyone else. Yeah, some people say it's all Edison's fault because he was so clueless and didn't see he's gf is in love with another man. I disagree with that, we can't blame him for trusting her. He wanted more open relationship when it comes to sharing your past, but Liv very secretive, and honestly I can't imagine her telling herr new/old boyfriend that she was having an affair with married POTUS. Nope. So what I'm saying is that, imo, until previous episode people exaggerated Edison as boring and stupid character, but now I can see that.

  7. Maybe I'm confused but the central relationship for this show has always been established as Fitz and Olivia. Randoms and wives circle around and between these two but ultimately Scandal always features this duo as its canon relationship becuz it's the major "scandal" of the show, you get it? Somehow I am always amazed when people bitch about Olivia not giving Edison enough or whatever, as if he is the male lead, Fitz is... so I get confused when they say oh "ed's a good man etc" or Olivia does not deserve him. etc... I mean did they not see season 1, it was established that Olivia is in a star crossed love affair with the President of the USA, so this relationship will always be revisited at different times during the drama's progression. They will always be longing for each other and any other love interests will never be permanent, it mirror's Shonda's other super couple MerDer on Grey's
