Awful. Just plain awful. Who in their right mind thought it would be plausible for a couple of forty somethings to flop around on the dance floor around much younger competitors who were generally acting as though they didn't notice a MUCH older, clearly inexperienced couple among them? They looked ridiculous. I've watched this show from day one and have always enjoyed these types of episodes but in this case they looked stupid. David may have had moves when he was Angel in the first season of Buffy but he doesn't now; and Emily is a beautiful woman who is in her late thirties that has had a baby. And do you know what she looked like on the dance floor? Like a woman in her late thirties to early forties who has had a baby. Utterly ridiculous.

  2. Well, I thought it was a totally fun episode! Dancing with the Stars doesn't always have 20-somethings doing the dancing, and going from pretty awful to pretty awesome sometimes, and it's a "reality" show. So I could buy into this plot enough to enjoy Bones and Booth dancing together, and their waltz at the end was quite lovely. You always have to suspend reality when you watch TV anyway. Get a grip! I would like to have seen Bones in a prettier gown, however. That was my main criticism of them. Emily's still a beautiful woman, even after a baby, and being in probably mid-thirties, and deserved a dress that would enhance her mature loveliness, especially since they had David in a handsome tux.
