she starts the article by hyping a tvd''s death, yet i could not find any reference to it in the content. was it just me? there was just this bonnie lame thing, nothing else
I agree that her scoop sucks most of the time. The only reason I have some respect for her is because of the way she adored and treated Lost, that will always give her some leeway with me. As for TVD, I agree that Kol is a possibility but it strikes me as odd, with the originals spin-off just around the corner.
Can't think of anyone besides Kol and it's really weird(and unnecessary) for two reasons:
1)Why would the kill a member of the Original family, who's also a popular character, when they can easily use him in the spin-off? 2)Will anyone be surprised?Even before Elena voiced her plan..Kol comes back, threatens everyone about the cure and one episode later Jeremy's mark is whole and ready to be used..Not so hard to find the link. I do hope they surprise us,but I'm not holding my breath.
I don't have any problem with Bonnie going down a dark path, if it were her choice. But they way they are setting it up is she is once again getting manipulated into being an interesting plot point. Ugh, Bonnie, no agency.
I'm the opposite. I think the Originals are the best thing on the show, it would be boring without them. I want all the remaining ones to live and be in the spin off. The love triangle has become really annoying and I can't stand it when it's always brought up. Hopefully Elena just sticks with one, don't care who, and the show can move on.
Question: did you think of the show as boring before the originals showed up (like S1 and first half of S2)? I didn't. I loved it. I even loved it after they showed up. But somewhere in the second half of S3 it got boring. Too many filer eps, too many repeating patterns, I felt like the story came to a stop.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the originals. But I think, they did their part and now it's time for them to go, so we can finally close the chapter and open a new one. The show is going nowhere, if it's all about the originals. How long can a show be successful, if we have the same villain in every season?
Well, I'm here on the opposite side. I always said, that the triangles were too much (it was good, as long as it was just Elena and the Salvatores, but then we had Ric and Caroline and Bonnie, …). But lately I think, that it's good for some character development (since the story seems to go nowhere). Yes, about Elena making a decision. I think it was in S3, when I first said, that Elena will make her decision and stuck to it in the last season, not before. After all, the love triangle is one of the basics of the show.
I found the opening, I think 6 episodes, boring but was told to stick with it and I'm glad I did. I loved season one and two, the story was great and it had great twists and turns and I wouldn't mind if it went back to that. I understand that a lot of fans ship a certain couple but it gets boring to me and i wish they would stop focusing on it too much.
Second half of season 3 did get boring and that was because Klaus was hardly a villain at that point, his goal was keeping the main character alive. He was kept around for too long, i was hoping he would have stayed dessicated for whole of season 4 and they could bring him back later, but the others have a lot of potential and Mikael could have been a great antagonist if they didn't kill him off.
I don't mind the originals leaving, especially with the spin off coming, if it helps progress the story but I'd rather they were kept alive. I didn't want Finn to die either but they killed him for that lame bloodlines plot and all that achieved was ensuring Klaus will never be killed.
Exactly. The first two seasons had a good storyline. And everything that happened, lead to the end we saw, even if we didn't get it at the beginning. We barely had filler eps. And the only thing repeating was the love/hate between Elena and Damon (but that was the charm of that).
All members of the family are great. They created good characters and found good actors to play them. But they are on the show too long. It would have been for the best, if they all would have left with Ester, after she came back. Everything that happened before was excellent. And the reunited family leaving would be a good end for that chapter. But it would be a happy ending, and we don't do happy endings on TVD. It would have given JP the opportunity to bring them back later. Or, they could left at the end of S3, after Elena turned. The gang could face the Five and Silas alone (cause it would have worked without Klaus) and we could meet Klaus again in the second half or end of S4 (if JP insists them being on the show), lifting the secret around Silas and this cure.
I'm glad they get an own show. To be honest I have no real interest in it (I'm really going sick with the originals), but I will give it a try (yes, I know I said before I'll never watch it. Like anyone believed that. I'm really curious about Klaus and this student. Klaus in therapy? Like I'll miss that). But I'm glad they have an own show. Cause it's the only chance to get rid of the originals. JP would have never let them go. She likes them too much. Or maybe she can't find another villain to match Klaus. Anyway, it looks like they'll leave. Thank god. Seriously, I don't know if I would have stayed for S5 if the originals would still be around.
Exactly. JP is changing rules like she pleases to find a reason to keep them alive and around. First, the daggers don't work on Klaus, so we can't lock him away. Then, there is just one weapon to kill an original. Then we loose the entire bloodline, if we kill an original. And as it happens, Klaus is the origin of all MF vamps, so all major character die, if he dies. For a reason no one understands Bonnie (the person who hates vampires most) frees Klaus. Something to think about: Why not creating a boundary line to prevent everyone and anything (like Alaric and the other originals) to get close to Klaus? Or dropping the coffin into the ocean? Now there is suddenly a cure, so Klaus has a reason to stay and find it for Elena.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I still find Bonnie boring and perdictable.

ReplyDeleteMaybe she will ,,accidently" kill someone with expression.

I agree with you but they didn´t confirm that Kol will be in the spin-off...yet

ReplyDeleteTVD
ReplyDeleteDark Willow? Cool.
But don't forget, JP: Willow was evil just for 3 eps, so don't push it.
No, it wasn't just you.
ReplyDeleteBesides: there is hardly an ep of TVD where none dies.
I hope it's all the originals. But I guess I'm pretty much alone on that.
ReplyDeleteI want Rebekah in there (her I actually wouldn't mind sticking around mystic falls either, unlike klaus)

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind having Becca in MF either. If the bitch changes her behavior. Big time.
ReplyDeleteKlaus and Kol, I want dead. ASAP
Elijah can come and stay. I think, he is the only sane one in the family.
