John Noble's voice only deserves an Emmy, a Golden Globe, an Oscar and every single award out there! I can't wait to see this but I do get the feeling that some fans might get disappointed, that the end is not completely satisfying or happy.
Yeah I suspect a lot of fans will be disappointed I don't think on the level as BSG/Lost as there are less questions to answer but it is very rare for fans to all love series finales.
Everything we know about the plans indicates that Peter and Olivia will never meet if time is reset and that Etta wont be brought back to life and that's what the fans are waiting for. Now, they're probably gonna find a way to make that happen, the only thing I see as inevitable is Walter's death. I don't see anyway around that.
It's really happening isn't it? It's almost the end... I don't want it to go. If you asked me a few years ago, I would've said that no show would've been able to top Lost for me. But now, well not now it's been awhile now, Fringe has topped Lost in the books for me.
I don't think anyone does.We can only hope that it has the best possible outcome. For me that means the team, all of them surviving whether its in this timline or another. One thing for sure, have those tissues ready....and just know we are all feeling the same.
I would be beyond shocked if Peter/Olivia don't end up with each other. Even if there is a reset I imagine that Olivia and Peter still crossed universes and found each other. Walter dying well I was really convinced at the start of the season now I'm not so sure its almost been signposted a bit too much. I just want some kind of happy ending even if it is bitter sweat.
It was implied during the interview that the finale won't satisfy everyone. I'm sure peter and olivia will be together so either walter dies or etta doesnt come back but there's something that we won't like, that's for usre.
TBH I'd rather see Etta dead than walter. And there was a rumour that Olivia might be pregnant a while back and a child is pretty obvious, not to replace etta but as a way of starting over.
That was an awesome promo what i can't believe the plan rest on Walter to die that will suck so bad. Was waiting for the other side to get to this season i guess the final episode seems fitting. So if they win dose that really mean Peter and Olivia will see there daughter again. I also hope Windmark dies in the most painful and fringe way that would be awesome if his face gets suck in like with that 2 dollar bill that would be cool since the final poster shows Windmark face being sucked in lol.
I'd rather watch it on this site if I can help it. Kind of an all-in-one thing without having to navigate elsewhere. Plus it adds page views for STV :)
Incredible trailer. Fringe always delivers with their trailers. I'm going to miss them. I was reminded, by this promo, of all the incredible stuff this show has done. The special effects and imaginative minds that came up with so much creativity onscreen is simply amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing what the writers came up with for the resolution to this journey the characters, and we, the viewers, by extension, have been on.
We donn't know anything? Of course we do. We know that the plan will reset time and that the observers won't exist in the new time line and as a consequence Walternate isn't interrupted by september, manages to get the cure for Peter, Walter never crosses over so Olivia never meets Peter. Not only it would fix their world but also the alternate universe who started dying after Walter crossed over. That's if they do thing logically but they're gonna find a way around it.
I don't think there is a confirmation, but I think Broyles or Nina must have been it...In the episode it was brought up in, was a Broyles re-introduction episode and when Etta received info, we see Broyles had escaped Windmark and came out from closed doors...Seeing him being interrogated here, I think it could still be revealed that he is the dove...
We don't know if the plan is really the plan (there might be a reason Walter doesn't remember and why Michael is doing what he is doing), or if FATE will bring Peter and Olivia together "another way"...
But we don't know know for sure that they won't meet if time is reset. For that matter we aren't even sure if the will reset...We aren't exactly sure why Olivia goes to the Red-Verse,we know see is going for help, but we don't know what it entails, what the plan is...For that matter we don't know for sure if Walter even dies...
Thinking about it, in every timeline that they experienced they found each other,so its a pretty safe bet that they will always be together..
Regarding her white hair, it could have been Nina, but my theory is still Broyles since he got really itchy when that Observer questioned a Resistance fighter in an earlier episode this season.
I mean three shots after that, at 1:08. You can see a Loyalist with blood spurting out of his stomach, and if you look closely you can see the creature's tentacles.
Oh, I see what you mean. Although, I can't see any tentacles through all of the blood. However, I don't think there were any other creatures that burst out of peoples' stomachs, so you're probably right. I guess Walter's pack rat habits came in handy. :)
I warned everyone not to call me on Saturday 'cause I'm gonna wake up first thing in the morning to watch the episodes and spend the rest of the day scrolling through tumblr and crying...
Indeed,he did an amazing job week in week out! So did Bert, every week he gave us great promos! They also got Ambergrams as our way of saying thank you.. I;m so glad they will both be working on The Following, lets just hope the show is good, and doesn't get cancelled!
I'll be doing the same probably right here.I cannot believe how much this is affecting me,its like mourning the death of a loved one,i have that same feeling, even depression.I have never experienced this for a show, not even Lost..
Good catch i missed it the first time around, but i didn't see the tentacles. Also was that an Observer with that green, yellow gunk coming out of his mouth? I can't seem to pause it at the right time..
I remember how bad it got after LOST! I literally missed watching that show ... I still do now! With Friday (Saturday for me) approaching ... I'm getting a knot and that sound track that usually plays in the back ground in emotional scenes is playing through my head on a loop! :(
You know i felt the same way when Lost ended, but Fringe is on a whole different level for me. I surprised myself by the depth of my own depression. Funny you should talk about the music,me too! I also keep hearing the opening music, then 'Previously on Fringe.'
I'm with you on this one. I've only felt this strong about a show twice before. Lost and previously, the X-Files. I"d like to say I felt the same about Chuck - but it was close enough to Lost ending that I was still getting over Lost (that took me two years).
I can't say Fringe is higher on my list than Lost on an emotional level - but the story is just so good. It's sad to see it end.
This looks so amazing. It's hours away and I'm move between being really excited for it and absolutely dreading it - I'm so not ready for this show to end. It's been my favourite show for years and I'm gutted that it's the end - though I'm so glad that we have a chance at this ending. I know for it to end completely happy could be thinking too optimistically but I really hope Walter, Olivia or Peter don't die and after adoring September-as-Donald - I'm dreading he's going to end up dying - so I hope he's there are the end as well. It's been a brilliant ride and my Fridays are going to be a little bit empty now.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh God. Astrid crying with Walter is just too too much. Let me sob, I can't cope with this being the finale trailer.
ReplyDeleteJohn Noble's voice only deserves an Emmy, a Golden Globe, an Oscar and every single award out there! I can't wait to see this but I do get the feeling that some fans might get disappointed, that the end is not completely satisfying or happy.
ReplyDeleteOMG Walter and Astrid crying! Oh, this is going to be wickedly good but incredibly sad...
ReplyDeleteWhen Windmark says to find out what Michael is,is his nose starting to bleed?
I don't know how to deal with this anymore...
ReplyDeleteYeah I suspect a lot of fans will be disappointed I don't think on the level as BSG/Lost as there are less questions to answer but it is very rare for fans to all love series finales.
ReplyDeleteIt could never satisfy everyone.I think everyone knows that going into it.
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm afraid when this ends, there won't be much on TV to compare. I'm expecting epic.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is there any way to turn of the "coming up next" banner that takes up part of the video window?
Everything we know about the plans indicates that Peter and Olivia will never meet if time is reset and that Etta wont be brought back to life and that's what the fans are waiting for. ReplyDeleteI will miss you Fringe.
And can I just say... B-broyles? You ok...?
I don't think anyone does.We can only hope that it has the best possible outcome. For me that means the team, all of them surviving whether its in this timline or another. One thing for sure, have those tissues ready....and just know we are all feeling the same.
ReplyDeleteCan you take a screenshot. I'm not seeing any banner?
ReplyDeleteI would be beyond shocked if Peter/Olivia don't end up with each other. Even if there is a reset I imagine that Olivia and Peter still crossed universes and found each other. Walter dying well I was really convinced at the start of the season now I'm not so sure its almost been signposted a bit too much. I just want some kind of happy ending even if it is bitter sweat.
ReplyDeleteCrying so much :'(

ReplyDeleteHis nose AND his eye. Like when Windmark was trying to scan Walter!
ReplyDeleteDude, this trailer... I can't wait!
I would be ok if Etta doesn't come back which sounds a bit cruel but I could live with it. Maybe they have another child instead.
ReplyDeleteYou can watch it on YT banner free and in HD http://youtu.be/x4jptm7Yedo
ReplyDeleteTBH I'd rather see Etta dead than walter. And there was a rumour that Olivia might be pregnant a while back and a child is pretty obvious, not to replace etta but as a way of starting over.
ReplyDeleteI want to know who the Dove is!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I'm getting scared.
ReplyDelete*Sobs hysterically*
ReplyDeleteMe neither. I keep crying when I think about it. I thought it was bad when Stargate SG-1 was cancelled, but this is killing me. :'(
ReplyDeleteOf course it's awesome, it's Fringe ! <3
ReplyDeleteWasn't the Dove Nina?
ReplyDeleteThat was an awesome promo what i can't believe the plan rest on Walter to die that will suck so bad. ReplyDelete@Lou My thoughts exactly! If Etta doesn't come back maybe they have another child. But then again this is Fringe so who knows!
ReplyDeleteCome up towards the end of all the videos I watch on here. Not a huge deal.

I can't think of anytime, damn. I guess if they don't bring it up then we'll just say Nina was the Dove.
ReplyDeleteYep, Astrid crying is what's gonna finish me...
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so hard to watch! I hate goodbyes!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely heartbreaking, but I have NO doubts it's gonna be extraordinary!

ReplyDeleteLOVE IT TO TEARS! It makes me want to give you all a hug as we all say goodbye to it together!
ReplyDeleteFor you, my friend! :)

actually I think we don't know anything. Imagine the impossible!

Did you guys see the Snakehead monster coming out of a Loyalist's stomach? That's so horrible. :p
ReplyDeleteActually, it looks like the giant cold virus from 'Bound'.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't put money down for an all happy ending. Unless they rewrite history and everyone (+ Gene) lives happily ever after. :D
ReplyDeleteRegarding her white hair, it could have been Nina, but my theory is still Broyles since he got really itchy when that Observer questioned a Resistance fighter in an earlier episode this season.
ReplyDeleteI mean three shots after that, at 1:08. You can see a Loyalist with blood spurting out of his stomach, and if you look closely you can see the creature's tentacles.

ReplyDeleteHahaha! That was very funny! ;) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour comment reminded me of that song which I haven't listened to in a loooong while. Actually it was only an excuse to find it again. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwww!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is for EVERYONE! :D

Ha! Cool!
ReplyDeleteliv reaching for the bullet just out of reach heartbreaking
ReplyDeleteif the trailer is this amazing in pulling all these emotions out of me, I will be just a puddle of emotional goo come Friday.......
ReplyDeleteWho's the joker who voted awful?
ReplyDeleteI warned everyone not to call me on Saturday 'cause I'm gonna wake up first thing in the morning to watch the episodes and spend the rest of the day scrolling through tumblr and crying...
ReplyDeleteRespect to Ari Margolis!
ReplyDeleteIndeed,he did an amazing job week in week out! So did Bert, every week he gave us great promos! They also got Ambergrams as our way of saying thank you.. I;m so glad they will both be working on The Following, lets just hope the show is good, and doesn't get cancelled!
ReplyDeleteJust a wise ass hoping we notice and say something about it.Just ignore them in the future, they like the attention.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure its Broyles, seems everything we have seen and heard leads to him..
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing the same probably right here.I cannot believe how much this is affecting me,its like mourning the death of a loved one,i have that same feeling, even depression.I have never experienced this for a show, not even Lost..
ReplyDeleteWow,did this bring back memories, thanks for this! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe album title and the titles of the first five tracks are a little ironic!
ReplyDeleteIt was me. You guys know how much I hate this show :p
ReplyDeleteYes they are,i like Mad John's escape!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yeah,right!!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteGood catch i missed it the first time around, but i didn't see the tentacles. Also was that an Observer with that green, yellow gunk coming out of his mouth? I can't seem to pause it at the right time..
ReplyDeleteMe too! :D
ReplyDeleteThere's never going to be another show like Fringe. And after Friday it's going to be hard to get used to the fact it's over.
ReplyDeletelooks so good
