Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) has been cast in Adam Goldberg‘s untitled comedy pilot for ABC.The comedic actress will play Beverly Gold, an overbearing, hyper-emotional shopaholic with no sense of boundaries and a big mouth. Nonetheless, she’s a very dedicated mom.
The ’80s-set potential series is inspired by Goldberg’s experiences growing up in a hectic, but loving, family.
