- Breaking Bad seasons 1-3 (I already had seasons 1-2 on DVD but this show deserves to be seen in HD, I'm a big fan and it was on promotion ; congrats on your brilliant strategy of not releasing BD sets alongside DVDs, Sony, you got me).
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Seasons 1-7 Grey's Anatomy - Seasons 2 and 3 Gossip Girl - Season 5 Big Bang Theory - Seasons 1-5 Dunno if this counts but also got a Vampire Diaries poster and calendar! :) MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I won't know until Friday. Mark had to work today. It's his four days where he works at DuPont. They are twelve hour shifts. Because they make relief at 5:30, he leaves the house at 4:30 and gets home at 6:30. I am pretty sure I will have something from Supernatural. Just no idea what. I will try to come back to this on Saturday or late Friday night.
Breaking Bad season 1 to 4 SFU season 1 to 5 Luther season 1 and 2 Sherlock season 1, close to get season 2 in January Fringe season 4 American Horror Story season 1 And I think that's all ... :/ Merry Christmas !!
Haven't opened anything yet,but I happen to know that one of the gifts is the "Inside HBO's Game of Thrones".I'll also surprise myself with seasons 1+2 of The Walking Dead. ; )
And I bought for my mom the first two seasons of Downton Abbey.
Well, we actually did our stockings tonight to have something on Christmas day. I got a Supernatural Storyboard card. It had a storyboard drawing from Episode Title My Heart Will Go On Episode 17. It is a limited edition, numbered card.
I also got a key chain clip that says metalicar on one side and Driver picks the music and shotgun shuts his cakehole on the other.
Made my day. I'll have to wait until Friday to know the rest.
Well I have amazon giftcards so I can fulfill some pre-orders...Fringe's "September's Notebook", Game of Thrones S2, and save the rest for Fringe's complete series blu-ray (whenever it's going to be released)
I got 21 Jump Street on DVD (full series....kind of bittersweet because I tried to watch the pilot online and the substitute music nearly made it unwatchable.)
I email everyone my Amazon wish list with links to the EXACT seasons and editions for that precise reason. All they have to do is click 'buy' with zero individual decision making. Of course, that simply means I get flooded with complaints about how I never want anything but dvds, so now I throw in the odd gizmo. Got a very nice.....it's a cake decorating thing, I think.
Better luck next year! Or in the Boxing Day sales. ;) And Merry Christmas.
Once Upon a Time season one,Hart of Dixie season one,2 Broke Girls season one,Wildfire season one, Switched at Birth season one vol. one,90210 season four,Americas Next Top Model. Cycles one and two,Gossip Girl season six(preordered).
Indeed, The Tudors box set is rather nice, not overly artistic but efficient and easy to put alongside other BDs (it's just a box set containing four individual BD cases). I like fancy limited/special editions, I always go for a steelbook but I'm always hesitant when they take too much space (the big Lost BD set is the exception to the rule, it has pride of place in my bookcase).
About Breaking Bad, the duration for both seasons is longer (season 1 : 5h32 on the DVD => 5h46 on the BD ; 9h50 => 10h15 for season 2) but I think I've seen that before, this has to do the fact that it's in HD, I don't think any content has been added.
Season 1 is on 2 BDs instead of 3 DVDs and season 2 is on 3 BDs instead of 4 DVDs. There are some more audio/subtitles tracks on both seasons compared to the DVDs : on the BDs there's German audio and German, Hindi and Turkish subtitles.
As for bonuses, they're exactly the same.
Season 1 : Audio commentary on episodes 1.01 and 1.06 by the cast and Vince Gilligan, making-of, cast audition videos, deleted scenes, Inside Breaking Bad (little documentary for each episode), interviews with Vince Gilligan & Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan's photo gallery.
Season 2 : Audio commentary on 5 episodes by the cast, season 1 recap, deleted scenes, behind the scenes, Inside Breaking Bad, 6 webisoodes, Stakeout with Hank Dean Norris (webisodes), musical clip, gag reel, season 3 trailer andVince Gilligan's photo gallery.
I think this is why the Christmas List came to be in the first place. :-D Then there is also the idea of getting yourself a Christmas present as well. Better luck next year.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I got the Blu-ray box sets of :
