    This was a really tough choice for me. I love so many couples or duos - Castle and Beckett (Castle), Dexter and Deb (Dexter)... Also from not listed ones Ryan and Esposito (Castle), Abby and McGee (NCIS). Since I am certain the ones already mentioned in the poll get many votes anyway, my vote goes to a couple/duo who hasn't had much (together) crime-solving time this season Abby & McGee from NCIS.

    Aww, I loved RoboSam and post-RoboSam season 6 had the brothers closest to seasons 1-3 than anything else. Season 4 was definitely not a shining time for the brother bond.

    Hey, I loved RoboSam as well but in the concept of a duo I don't think it worked so well most of the time. Just on his own merits, RoboSam was a lot of fun but when you add Dean to that mix and make it a Duo all you're adding is constant anger, distrust, and frustration. It made the whole thing a downer.

    Season 4 may not have been a shining beacon of brother-bonding but it's bracing to watch that season alongside the more recent ones. It seems like the problems they had in season 4 were much more serious and yet their discourse then isn't nearly as toxic as it has been in more recent seasons.

    No, not out on the field together, because Abby stays in the lab. So they usually work together in Abby's lab. And until recently - end of last season - there used to be quite a lot scenes of them two working together on evidence and cases. But you're right - not out in the field and not so many scenes recently. But that's because she's not an agent. But the poll doesn't say both have to be agents/cops.

    No, i didn't mean they had to be agents,but the only time i ever see them together is in the lab.Sure he helps her out when needed but that is about it.I just never thought of them as any kind of duo because they are never together long enough. You answer sort of surprised me only because you see them that way,and i never even dawned on me.. :)

    Such a hard choice!! I'm only on season 2 of Castle so I can't say they are my favourite just yet. Nikita, Supernatural and Bones are my favourite shows and those duos work so well together but I would have to say at the moment my favourite are Steve and Danno! Just caught up on Hawaii watched my first live episode last week and they are so awesome with the carguments. Can't wait to see Steve in action after Danny gets shot on Monday's ep, the shooter is getting a SEAL ass-kicking! (Also though I am enjoying arrow I don't see Oliver and Laurel as a duo just yet)

    I actually have no problem with how the boys are this season. It kind of makes sense for where they both have been and then coming back together. Why should we expect them to go back to the way they had been before. There is too much anger between them right now and actually it has quietly always been there from the beginning. Yet even with all this anger, they have found ways to work together and help each other.

    Well, judging by the votes, more people think Caskett is better. So that's an invalid argument. I am just saying that what you wrote doesn't sound like an opinion, it sounds like you're belittling Caskett and the people who vote for Caskett. "I like Jisbon better" or " I think Jisbon is better" is an opinion. Saying "Come on guys, Jisbon is much better" is not an opinion, it's a statement that can't really be supported by the votes in this poll, like you tried to do.

    Agreed. It seems like this list automatically went to the 2 main characters in every show, regardless of whether they're actually a "duo" or not. (And since love interests are always afforded such a main role, I assume Arrow considers Laurel the 2nd most important character after Oliver, even though I find her utterly boring and useless.)

    Word, Nikita and Alex are the main duo of Nikita as far as I'm concerned, not Nikita and Michael. Romance is conventional and present on nearly every show, but the N/A bond is something truly unique and the heart of Nikita as far as I'm concerned.

    You know, I watch castle sometimes and I don't feel like.... when I watch THE MENTALIST I feel everything they feel: sometimes I want to cry, others I can't stop laughing, besides you've got a disadventage, they're already together, that makes the show boring... while between Jisbon, you never know what will happen....It's not an opinion, it's a fact!

    It is actually a 2 way tie between Sam and Dean on Supernatural and Steve and Danny on Hawaii Five-0. Hard to choose between the two, even though Sam and Dean are brothers and have been on tv longer than Steve and Danny.

    Again, it's not a fact, it's your opinion. I watch both shows, and to me, Castle seems just as interesting as ever. I can barely wait for new episodes to come out. But in the case of The Mentalist, I don't have the same feeling of anticipation, and especially not as far as Jane and Lisbon are concerned, because, personally, I never noticed any hint from the writers that they intend to bring the two together as a couple, or as anything other than good friends. So yes, anything could happen, but if by that you mean their making progress in the romantic department, than that would feel(again, to me, you are wntitled to your opinion, which probably differs from mine) rushed, like the writers decided to throw them together on a whim, without thinking it through. So no, I don't think anything romantic would happen in the next half a season, or the next season if it gets renewed, and I will stand by my opinion until the writers give me a hint of their intentions. I am not asking for a "punch in the face" type of hint either, just something to make the difference between friends and more.

    This is just a friendly poll,and i'm glad your happy that your favorite couple is in the lead.That being said,everyone has a right to vote for who they want but saying 'in your face Castle' can inflame some fans,and that is not necessary.Next time think before writing something like that.

    Have you really looked at spoilers and have you ever really took the time to look at what's happening in the fandom right now? Because if you did, you would know that the writers have announced that Jisbon WILL happen, whether that's in this season or the next. I'm not saying big fireworks and *boom* she's pregnant, it can happen in all sorts of ways.
    I just find it rather amusing that you're telling people that what we say, even if it are actual facts, are opinions, and you reply with an opinion yourself. But that could be just my sleepy brain malfunctioning here, but I don't think so really.
    And yes, now the 'opinions/facts' say that Jisbon is the best couple so in the end I was right.

    Yes, I did respond with an opinion, and I did say it was "my opinion", as I am aware of the fact that although Castle is the best for me, it is not the same for others. If you had said it was your opinion in the first comment, this wouldn't even had been an issue. And just let me say this, I really don't care what the spoilers are saying. I'll believe it when I see it. I didn't say they will never end up together, just said that I haven't seen anything to support it up until now. If something like this happens in the future, well, that's great. And yes, Jisbon is in the lead now, which means most fans here prefer it. But when you made your first comment they weren't, so it's like saying that a losing football team is the best, just so that you can say "i told you so" when they finally have one win.

    Anyway, the thing is, there's nothing wrong with expressing your opinion. Please do, actually. " I like x more than y", "I don't think y is all that interesting" those are opinions, and you're entitled to them. But saying that one show is better than another, when there's no way to measure the quality of a show (it has nothing to do with ratings, or prizes or, a case in point, polls), is just childish. Yes, this may be your favorite show, and that's ok, but other people have other favorite shows, and they will deny the fact that " x is better than y", because to them, it isn't. What they can't deny, is your opinion, so if you want your show to be respected by others, please respect the other shows. You don't have to like them. Just don't attack them to make a point about your favorite show, by comparing them. Every show has its own fanbase, who consider that show the best, and you won't change their minds by saying "Come on guys, Jisbon is much better.", that just sounds patronizing, as if you consider us unable to make our own decisions and have our own opinions.
