Everything I can get! I'm one those people who when starts to read book always read how book ends and take sneak peek in others chapters! When i start watching show who has full season and more episodes always check up how season ended and what going in mean time!
i didnt say i voted for modern family or ncis i know they arent there but i am saying that i would have voted for modern family if that was in the poll:)
I will look at cast promo photos and posters for jest about everything.
For serial dramas I really enjoy I read pre-season articles and post-air episode interviews, but no true spoilery posts. I like to take in each episode with no bias or foresight....
For dramas I casually view or comedies I will read any post that strikes my fancy, but I still rarely watch sneak peeks or advance promos.
For development series or pre-air pilots that intrigue me I will read and watch everything I can.
The one exception is Game of Thrones where I watch look at every bit of promo material I can since HBO has the best marketing campaign on the planet for that series! Plus being that I have read the books numerous times no post is really all that spoiler filled for me anyway....
I am soooo bad! I checked off every choice except the last. I certainly want to know everything about The Walking Dead and Fringe, but I hold back on American Horror Story.
As the kids say, "+1". That is exactly what I my modus operandi with spoilers, minus the post-air episode interviews (except in rare cases when I'm particularly shocked/intrigued/conflicted about creative choices) and the GoT obsession (I love the show but not as much as you do, I think ^^, and I haven't read the books).
I usually love pre-season trailers, especially for serial dramas, but you could not get me to watch a trailer once the season has started (might be because I'm 2-3-4 weeks behind or simply because I like being surprised when I watch my shows).
For me it depends on how much I am invested in the show-- the shows that I regularly watch I do pretty much everything. The other shows are more on the basis of curiosity.
If I am obsessive about a show I will read anything posted and look at any picture, but if I like a show I am only interested in new items or something that will tell me something that interests me at the time.
I read any sort of spoilers or comments on a show I like and am invested in. But my favorite spoilers are previews and promos. If I'm not currently watching a show I used to watch , I might follow the promos too, just to know what's going on.
Anything and everything that you post here that has to do with my shows, I grab and read later (except the well-written Castle recaps since I do my best to pay attention while I watch). A few other sites as well. And comments to read people's reactions, especially when something is speculated (like whether or not Castle was framed and by whom in "Probably Cause"). I'm kinda horrible. Although fortunately, I'm not completely spoiled until I actually watch the episode (usually. Living on the West Coast, I couldn't help but read who was Barney's bride last May before watching the episode the next day :P)
All except for the last one! It really depends, with certain shows such as Homelands finale i won't go for the full blown episode detail, and as for Fringe i won't read any kind of spoilers concerning the last 3 episodes of the series finale. But as for any other show goes,i check out everything!
No Ben is making a joke. Since Castle isn't a possible answer it can't possibly win this poll as it does most other polls. That is the joke. It is sarcasm.
I will watch promos, for the next eppy, and sneak peeks, for the next eppy (sometimes). I will check out promo pics, although most of the time they are worthless for spoiling anything. I will even go so far as to check out set photos if they are available, but I tend to avoid the text spoilers like the snippets, but I do read the TVLine and EX spoilers since they are more of a puzzle usually. But outright text spoilers saying this will happen and that will happen I TRY to stay away from. Try being the operative word. I fail most times, LOL! If I know it is a death spoiler I do my best to avoid it, but usually curiosity gets the best of me.
So basically I try to avoid major or death spoilers (if I stay strong). All others I'm game for.
I'll check everthing on here, but i refuse to watch the promo for the next episode if I haven't seen the one of that week yet. Also I once got majorly spoiled by checkin youtube before watching a TVD episode so now I also stay away from youtube before I get a chance to watch the epi
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
YAY Castle definitely can't win this one hahaha :P

ReplyDeletePromos and sneak peeks. I read titles if I know they're connected to the episode somehow (like Breaking Bad). Never plot twists and deaths!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I must say your user submitted polls are really good.
ReplyDeleteIT really depends for me honestly...

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Full Blown, I cant keep away from them. I'm gonna try to keep away from Fringe spoilers after episode 10
ReplyDeleteAll except for the last one! ReplyDeleteI think I will, too.
