    From Elena's reaction and slightly disheveled appearance, I have to guess the reason she was in a rush has to do with Damon and nudity.

    Caroline was my second favourite character (after Damon) and now I think she hits rock bottom. It took only one episode. First the sire bond and then ruining my favourite characters. What´s going on guys :(

    I don't think Caroline acting this way is necessarily a bad thing. The writers have been portraying Caroline as "little miss perfect" for way too long. It's about time they dirty her up a little. It never made much sense how the writers completely erased any trace of human Caroline when she turned. This version seems a little closer to reality.

    why? because she disproves of your precious damon. she has every right to not like him. my only problem is that the audience remembers what he did to her, so why don't they let her character remember too.

    I'm glad that "they don't have a flat iron at Hotel Salvatore". Elena looks much better like this than with her hair all straight. As Katherine put it, it makes her look "dull as dishwater".

    I'm kind of annoyed that they are making Caroline out to be this extremely judgemental person when she's really not. She can be judgy at times but last week's episode was taking it too far. I think the writers wrote her that way just to give us the "big reveal" at the end of the episode.

    The girls' night in seems like fun. The last time I remember the girls having a sleepover is at Elena's house in, I think, Season 2.Can't wait to see what's the bomb that Elena drops on the girl, probably her tryst with Damon.

    Let's not forget who threw herself at Damon in the first place when Elena and Stefan got together. I agree that he mistreated her but no character on the show is static. Damon has changed since he first came back to Mystic Falls at the beginning and if Caroline can give Klaus of all people a chance, it's only fair that she gives Damon a chance as well.

    I am thinking that maybe caroline is being hyper critical because of the Tyler thing. The fear thats whats happening with Stefan and Elena could happen with Tyler. And she is reflecting.

    That wasn't the implication. Caroline takes a shot at Elena because of her appearance and the reason Elena gave was that she was in a rush. My implication is that she was running late for school because Damon and Elena went for round two before she left for school that morning.

    Yes, she threw herself at Damon when she met him. But neither this, nor Damons behavior (he was an ass in S1) is an excuse for how he treated her. What he did to her.

    But yes, I agree that he changed. Elena has a good influence on him.

    Absolutely agree about Klaus. How can Caroline give Elena a hard time over Damon? Not even at his worst could Damon be compared to Klaus. And there she stands, laughing and having fun with Klaus (obviously forgetting what he put her and her friends thru), and giving Elena a hard time for choosing Damon over Stefan. Besides, it was Stefan who broke up with Elena.

    I think that your right, plus add in her obvious feelings for Klaus and it explains all the extra judging going on for Elena and Bonny to cover up her own feelings.

    I have a question did any one noticed that the write went to extra miles to explain the sire bond for the hybrids. so why would Elena be greatful if she never wanted to be a vampire. I noticed that from the start of this season there are hints of stuff that once it happens we are going to want to go back . like why is it so important to break the sire bond of all the hybrids??? there is something being setup here and some how its right under our nose...
