  2. Well they have already killed off most the recurring characters so I'm going to take this as a non-death goodbye.

  3. I like it but I'm not getting too attached to it just yet.If it's still the same in a few weeks we'll revisit it.. ; )

  4. anyone know which episode is Ben Edlunds Nazi Necromancer one?

  5. I won't hold my breath on the title. Supernatural is known for changing them. I like it though.

  6. Maybe 'Everyone Hates Hitler?'

  7. They didn't say "goodbye someone we knew well". :P Could be any kind of goodbye and could really be someone not well know.

  8. Yeah except a stranger or strangers get killed every single episode so I am guessing that the stranger is not a literal stranger. Otherwise they might as well call it Typical Episode #166

  9. Nazi Necromancer? Is that happening?

  10. How about 'Let's Kill Hitler Again'? :)

  11. So true. But whose's left to kill? Maybe Benny?

I'd think Benny and Cas's [pretty much yearly :P ] death would be a 21 or 22 episode death thing. It's not a mid-season or finale episode. No important character dies in the 17th episode of a season, minus Frank, who I didn't see as that much of a big character. And it wouldn't be Kevin, again, way too important.

They really can't afford much more deaths. Gets boring after a while. :P

  12. That's exactly why I said up above that it is probably a non-death goodbye.

  13. According to my notes, Everyone Hates Hitler is indeed the Ben Edlund episode. It should be 8.13.

  14. Since they can't exactly kill anyone off anymore, maybe they are bringing someone back from the grave only to send them off by the end of the episode a la Ellen in My Heart Will Go On, Jo in Defending Your Life, or Rufus in Death's Door.

  15. *Sighs* and braces self for another crazy Ben Edlund production.

  16. Hmm. Maybe Amelia's expecting Sam's child and then she miscarries or something.
I would'd put it past Carver to soup up the melodrama to the next level.

  17. As people have said, it might not mean someone (or something haha) dies, but they could just leave. Also, a major death isn't something they'd do outside of a mid-season finale or the season finale.... But can I just point this out: Everyone forgets that technically there WILL be another break, around the end of March or beginning of April, right? So this could be another (not as major) in-season finale, allowing a finale-like plot where a character can leave/die. But that's not the point i wanted to make....Well kind of...but do you notice how they leaked spoilers of only a few episodes after the mid-season premiere, like, major plot-changing spoilers? For example: the paternal grandfather will be introduced (and don't say that isn't major...we all have seen what introducing their mother's grandfather became). What I'm saying here is that we should expect something big, because having it be the 17th episode, it could be another mid-season finale, like i said earlier; and after Abandon All Hope, expect the worst in those finales..
On another note, does anyone find it weird that they leaked spoilers of a random episode (the 15th- Man's Best Friend With Benefits)? They wouldn't leak something minor...right? I mean the plot spoilers they DID leak leave room for a lot of theories to be made, so all I'm saying is that there's definitely something that will be big happening in this episode, and the 15th episode's plot spoilers sound kind of vague, and kind of fishy.... Please reply telling me what you all think!

  18. OH MY GOSH. Ok, sorry about that last really long post...and this really long post...But I just came up with the best theory... So as i said in my last post, there will be another break for about a month around episode 16 or 17. What if the cliff hanger or some plot altering event, like a death for example (because we all know every in-season finale and season finale has at least one or both of these things, as minor as it may be), is that Sam finds out that Amelia and Don are just his perception of events that actually happened, were changed? I mean, I guarantee there is a real Amelia, and the whole 'dog that got hit' part was real, but what if after that, Sam says no to keeping the dog, and his mind is altered by someone or something that causes him to make up those flashbacks? Even though there are spoilers that Sam will meet with Amelia and give her an ultimatum, choosing between him and Don, what if you don't find out all that is fake/they're hallucinations until this episode? After all, that episode didn't air yet, so we don't know exactly what happens when Sam meets up with Amelia. Also, if I recall, we never did find out who/what that shadow was in the season premiere. This theory would explain the title, and Jeremy Carver did say a major season theme was Perception.......As you can see, I'm pro-thinking-the-flashbacks-are-fake haha.

  19. That just way over the top for a show such as Supernatural!

  20. *Fingers crossed Benny doesnt die*

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh, no... You just got me a bit hopeful again, which is not a good thing (thank you!) ;o)

Let's see how things will pan out... I hope you're right, but the spoilers about Amelia gives me so little hope...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Or maybe it's in reference to the Supertramp song, "Goodbye Stranger".

    ReplyDelete
  23. haha I'm holding on to that small percent that the flashbacks aren't 100% accurate... BUT IF THEY WERE, this could be the same case as when Becky put the spell on Sam...They both were real, it really happened, but Sam had no control, remember? It'd make me feel better about him just dropping everything and leaving the hunting business and it WOULD make sense... Again, we know pretty much nothing about Amelia...maybe she's into hoodoo? She made a deal with Crowley? She's working with the angels? BUT IF SHE IS, UGH. NO. PLEASE NO.
ALSO about the flashbacks...they moved WAY to fast..here are a few examples, not all of the flashbacks though:
*Sam hits a dog, and Amelia acts like a bitch to him.
*Sam works on the sink , she still insults him
*The dog runs into her room, SHE INSULTS HIM SOME MORE
    * THEY HAVE SEX
*THEY BUY A HOUSE TOGETHER. AND HE MEETS AMELIA'S DAD
.blablabla, Then Don is actually alive...And I'm just going to talk about that now.... Don...what the hell... If he was SEEN DEAD, and Amelia saw him dead.....now he's alive, that's not weird at all?! Or if Amelia never actually saw Don dead, and was just told, and he turns out to be alive and comes back into her life after months, coincidence that he "turned out to be alive" right when Sam and Amelia move in together? **I THINK NOT** Don is a character to watch, there's something up with him. Especially for the reason that a Big Bad for the season isn't blatantly named yet...It might not be Crowley with the tablets...That seems to be more of a story arc over multiple seasons, not just this season.....

Another point...do you notice how they didn't show what happened immediately after Crowley left with Kevin in the season 7 finale? It could have something to do with why Sam didn't at least check with a few hunters or hospitals to see if they heard anything about Cas and Dean.. Maybe it's a repressed memory of angels visiting him? or a witch? or demons?

I wish I could just write theories like this instead of my English Research Paper hahah, I would get an A(:
