As of today, I’m starting a new feature called “Scene of the Week” in which we’re trying to find most compelling, best acted, written, directed and just generally great scenes that we’ve seen last week. I’m planning on posting it every week, with the a little help from our SpoilerTV amazing team, on Saturday or Sunday and I invite you all to join me. My picks this week are:
1.Show: FRINGE
Episode: 5.08 – The Human Kind
Date: December 7, 2012
Actors: Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson
Quote:
“She saved my life today with the bullet she brought to us. She’s alive inside us. And there’s nothing that Windmark can do about it, because the love that we can share with her now is invulnerable to space and time, even to them. We need to hold on to our connection with Etta, feeling what we felt for her, or she dies all over again. And we cannot let her be erased.” Olivia
2.Show: ONCE UPON A TIME
Episode: 2.09 – Queen of Hearts
Date: December 2, 2012
Actors: Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Barbara Hershey
The Scene: The entire fight between Emma&Snow vs Cora&Hook was one of my favorites scenes of the episode, but it’s the part where Cora goes after Snow trying to rip her heart out and Emma saves her that amazed me. I remember watching this scene very well with million thoughts going through my head, the gasp and being absolutely terrified that one of our heroines is about to lose a heart. But Emma actually becoming THE savior was outstanding. It’s not just incredibly powerful, brilliantly acted and directed moment, but also pretty big step forward for our hero. And let’s not forget, thanks to the power of her pure magic, she and Snow finally made their way back home where we got another beautiful scenes of reunion.

“Love is weakness” Cora
“No. Love is strength” Emma
I also asked other SpoilerTV Team member about her favorite scene this week and here’s her pick:
FROM LAURA M
Show: ONCE UPON A TIME
Episode: 2.09 – Queen of Hearts
Date: December 2, 2012
Actors: Lana Parilla (and Barbara Hershey)
The Scene: Regina left alone in Gold’s shop at the end of the episode and Cora talking about wanting to come back to her daughter after the curse is broken. As for why…
“Season 1 Regina wanted revenge, wanted to win, no matter what. Season 2 Regina starts to move on, she wants to redeem herself, she tries her best to do things right. But due to her past the rest of the characters still don't see her as the woman she's becoming, she's left behind at the end of the episode in a heartbreaking scene (Lana Parilla does a wonderful job) where Gold points out she's alone. After everything she does she's still alone. And Fairytale Land or Storybrooke Regina just wants to be loved. Which leads to an interesting cut to Cora's scene talking about coming back to be in the exact moment her daughter hits rock bottom. It will lead to an interesting fallout, and probably sad, too”
