    That's awesome! But what made them decide that, I mean it's an awesome show, but I've never understood ordering a new season before the one you've already got hasn't even started yet. Of course, most of the time this happens as a 2 seasons order, which I've never understood either

    Good news. All that's missing is the USA network press release saying that "Psych season 8 will premiere in November 2017."

    Well I think they know the show does well for them, the long gap between S6 and S7 means they probably want to get the actors and writers signed up in case they think about leaving (I doubt they would but still). I imagine S8 might be the last though.
