Awful episode, I mean that's the midseason finale? That's the could do? It started out promising but overall the episode was quite boring and disappointing as a whole. They seriously have to drop the whole Jack/bar storyline, are we supposed to even care?
I kinda felt sorry for Ashley, but she made a choice to step over people in order to achieve her goals. She treated Emily like crap, betrayed Daniel more than once, and showed a frequent disregard for anyone but herself.
In a way I can kind of understand it. That time when she first (unknowingly) met Emily must have really shaken her to the core. She was so desperate to never be in that situation again that she felt like she needed to be manipulative to get what she wants. I'm interested to see where she goes from here. She doesn't know anyone else except Emily.
As for Daniel, I think he's getting way too overconfident. I'm actually looking forward to Nolan knocking him down a peg.
Not really convinced by this episode I'm disappointed to have that as a midseason finally, I wasn't really into it The only good thing that I loved was Nolan, and Ashley getting what she deserved And I'm really bored with Jack's storyline, I skipped all his scenes
I am loving this season so far and same is the case with this episode. I agree they need to drop Jack's storyline, just a waste of time.As for Daniel ,he is digging a grave for himself. He does not even know where he is heading or what he is doing.Tying hopes for a girl he would never get. I just hope if some day Emily has a family it's with Aiden,cz they really deserve each other.Their relationship is getting stronger.
Can somebody please recap/explain the Jack/thug story line? I'm very confused, why do the two guys want to kill him? Did his dad cover up a murder or something?
Really liked it (yet another reason to cry evil on networks taking the hiatus on new eps of shows in December.) You know the joy of Daniel becoming an over confident jerk is knowing how much he's underestimated Nolan. That is going to be fun. I officially have evil wishes for Nolan's former beau. Really, I do not like anyone picking on Nolan. I am really pleased that Emily has stop treating him badly.
Daniel proved he's not too bright. If there is one thing he should realize is that his mother would never lie about wanting to protect him. Her methods or protection might wander into the realm of evil...but she's never lied about wanting to protect her children. The fun of the back half of the season is going to be watching Daniel get his comeuppance. :-)
Finally Jack has figured out what's going on with his bar. I still hate what they did to drag it out (I firmly believe that you can achieve goals....like holding out on Jack finding out the truth...without making the character an idiot.) it has been, by far the weakest element of the season so far. But he finally went to Nolan. Am I the only one to thought maybe Emily wasn't the only person trying to hide her jealousy at that Christening? :-) For a moment I could have sworn Nolan was a bit jealous too. But it was really nice that he was up there with Declan and Emily. Now Jack, let Amanda in on what's going on. :-) I am certain that she could take both of the Ryan bros with one hand tied behind her back. LOL
I'm torn about how the ep ended though. I loved the ep but, I think it might have been better to end on a cliffhanger note rather than on pure set-up elements.
I loved this one. I know people aren't keen on season 2, but i really am loving it, i think the show is very strong. I have been hating on the porter boys and their storyline forever, but it was actually better on this one, looks like it is going somewhere! I felt a bit sorry for ashley, but she had it coming, like a previous poster explained. The entire plot with daniel/nolan/hayden/conrad/victoria with emily behind it all was the best, revenge as I love it. I am genuienly in love with emily and hayden now and I used to love daniel and emily a lot. I might still prefer them but I dunno. From the looks of the last scene with daniel, it looks as if they will come back And I a curious about nolan's plan and what will become of ashley!
Jack being a idiot bothers me as well. I mean, i know he's a pretty proud guy but he does have two super duper rich best friends who can easily lend him some money to deal with those kind of situations or simply invest on the bar.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteMike used Jack's dad gun and so the two guys think he was involved in their fathers murder.

Yes, all they know is that the last "appointment" their father had was with Jack's father.
