    That was just perfect and amazing. I loved it! No way they could have done a sixth season after that, tbh.



    That emotional mindfuck that was Hardison, Parker, and Eliot dying hit me right in the feels. I figured they weren't dead, but still.



    And Nate proposed to Sophie! The proposal was so adorable and she said yes and alskdjflakdf. I hate that Lara/Laura wasn't her real name, though. I really liked it!



    I'm definitely going to miss this show.

    I will really miss this show, especially since it would have been the Eliot - Parker- Hardison show. Those were the 3 I watched for anyway.

    Absolutely amazing!!! We definitely need more Leverage! Not ready to say goodbye yet. They still have a lot of stories to tell.

    It is a bitter-sweet ending for me because that was the perfect ending to the show we knew while leaving us with the idea that Eliot-Parker-Hardison continue Leverage...

    I agree mostly but then it wouldn't be the same Leverage now would it? I've realized that shows can not last forever even with endless character changes. I'm really upset about Leverage ending but I feel like it ended on a good note.

    A perfect ending for myself and my cousins who watched with me. The bookend of Parker, Hardison, and Elliot delivering the speech just took it over the edge. I also loved that the tweet of Sophie's real name wasn't really her name.

    I wish it was more of the show, but hey what have begging also have an ending, It was a great run great concept, great cast, great cases and so on. I hope to see someday something new with also a great cast, great concept, great cases and so on. But for now this was great. My personal ending for the series would have been we see massive stealing of the people who made the economy bad with Parker and the others leading the cases, but this will do.

    Dean Devlin, John Rodgers and Chris Downey showed real class by ending this show with this great episode. Too many shows just end and we don't get to say goodbye. They made you swear, cry and even laugh, if you are a true Leverage fan you picked up on all the little things from past episodes. The ending was the best!!

    I never liked Nate at all and frequently wished he would be gone from the show. In the last year or so he got better but for the most part I've always been rooting for the Hardison - Parker - Eliot show.

    Knowing that it was going to be the finale of the series going in but that the writers wouldnt have yet known that when they wrote it... they did as perfect of a job of writing an uncertain ending as you could get.

    This ALMOST bumped Eureka as my favorite finale of 2012. Easily a better send off than most shows get. A+ job by the writers, producers & director.
    I hope someone gives them a TV movie send off at least though...because I'd love to see at least 1 job with Parker running things.

    Finally got a chance to watch the series finale, and even though this was a bittersweet ending to a great and fun series, I'm glad that they got to close things on a great note and still allowed the spirit of "Leverage Inc." to continue on with the 3 musketeers now that "Mom and Dad" were stepping out of the limelight to finally experience the bliss that they both deserve. It was very satisfying case especially to include their nemesis/ally, Sterling one last time... Kudos for finally explaining the mystery that Nate/Hardison were keeping at the beginning of the season. Even though this was a satisfying close, I always wanted to see that elliot would get a significant other especially since Parker/Hardison found each other. Thanks to Dean Devlin and everyone who worked hard to give us a fun past 5 seasons...

    Loved it. Almost cry at the end.
    Hate to say it, but even if the three of them will go on, they have to replace Nate and
    Sophie. Tara could come back. She is a good grifter and she knows the team. Replacing
    Nate will be a problem.

    I never bought that Nate was the only one who could mastermind a con. They all have that skill. I do agree they would have to bring more players in but mostly because they usually need more than 3 people for a con. I would have been good with rotating partners similar to the Bones squinterns.. Of course it's all nil now that the show has been cancelled. May it live on in good fan fic.

    I'm not denying that they all are smart and can plan a con. But Nate was mastermind for a reason. He could react and improvise better than the rest. He had alternative plans and alternative plans for his alternative plans, before they started the con.
    Without someone like him, they will get problems sooner or later.

    So true. Show writers are always going to have different ideas than me. I find that in most shows I gravitate more to the supposed "secondary" characters than the lead. I have always liked Esposito, Ryan, Alex, and Martha more than Castle and Beckett. My favorite character on White Collar is by far Mozzie. On Burn Notice, I've always liked Fi and Sam better than Michael. Grimm is awesome because of Monroe.


    Supernatural is the big exception though. That has always been and will always be about the brothers for me. Secondary characters are way less important in my opinion although I do admit to liking Bobby better than the brothers in season 4.

    I see them all as good at thinking on their feet. As a collective whole my guess is that they could be just as good as Nate was at coming up with alternatives and probably a little less reckless.

    That is interesting that you tend to gravitate to the secondary characters. I agree that the characters that you mention are much more interesting than the leads. I tend to like individual characters (lead or not) if they have an interesting and compelling story


    Supernatural-- I guess that it makes sense especially since in the first three seasons of the show besides Bobby who was more of a recurring character not so much a secondary one, the boys were the show. I honestly don't like any of the secondary characters on Supernatural so I understand. I think that Supernatural's problem is that it didn't start out as an ensemble cast, so now it doesn't do the changing in focus between lead/secondary characters so great.


    I mean yeah Castle has got Castle and Beckett as the leads but it also uses the others to their advantage and I don't feel shortchanged when I watch it, Same with Leverage, White Collar and other such shows. With Supernatural, it is different.

    I agree that Supernatural is different. Probably my favorite secondary character right now is Crowley and about 60% of that is because he is played by Mark Sheppard. They've killed off all the secondary characters I liked and for most of them part of the reason I liked them was because they were in it for only a limited amount of time. Oh I do like Sheriff Jody but again she is on the show very rarely. That's how I like my secondary/recurring characters on SPN.

    I like Crowley too and exactly for the same reasons! Sheriff Jody is very likable. I also liked one off characters whom I WISH they would get back on the show. You are going to laugh because it is so stereotypical but I adored S1's Sarah and for me she is pretty much the ideal woman for Sam. If they had brought her back in S8 (even in the worst case scenario with a different actress), I would have so happy even if she represents 'normal' for Sam. Amelia is just too soap operay for my tastes.
