It is so a plan. Patrice is definitely in on it, but I'm not sure about anybody else. I hope so. Barney clearly knew they were in there and he had to have heard Robin's "ow".
And yay intervention!
LOL at Judy and Mickey having sex. That was awesome.
Gah, I am so fucking excited for next week! It's going to be awesome.
I love Robin, but I didn't like her in this episode. And tbh, it didn't look like it was a play from Barney, although I think he knew the gang was in his apartment. But if it is a play from him, and I hope it is, I also hope Patrice knows about it, coz I like her and it would be really mean if she was being played. Now the "Ted's property" thing was kinda funny, and Marshall's and Lily's parents getting together, that's weird, their reaction was appropriate, Lol.
Best episode in a long long time it was funny and fun. This whole plot is by far the best storyline they have ever created. I thought Ted was hilarious and that's saying alot he was the highlight of the episode. Robin has lost it completely over Barney (Just be with him already gees), everyone in Barney's apartment was great fun and everyone was hilarious. But, they are really trying hard to sell this B/P relatonship it's easy for me to know that this is all part of the plan. The only thing I didn't like was the Mickey/Judy storyline.
It'd be cruel to play Patrice like that, and I don't see the show going in that direction. I bet Patrice is definitely in on it because she wants Robin to be happy, and she's help Barney get her back.
Yes, it would be cruel. I really like Patrice and I don't want Barney to be cruel like that, coz I know he's not like that. But, I don't know, this arch-enemy stuff is bugging me, coz I never saw Patrice like that.
To me, the "arch-enemy" thing was just to play up the comedy that Robin currently views Patrice as this person who is terrible and always trying to harm her even when she's just trying to be nice (take the purse example from tonight's episode).
So in Robin's mind, Patrice is currently her "arch-enemy", as irrational as that seems to every outsider, and Ted was mentioning that relationship from Robin's perspective.
Robin is so out of character this season it's painful to watch. But the gags are funny and the chars are great, so I can cope with that as long as she goes back to normal once she's back to the Barnicle. I just wonder, with things speeding up for them to get back together on next week's back-to-backs, when are the authors going to play the last Ted/Robin card they said they would?
I liked the 'Ted's Property' runner. loved that most of the stuff he was grousing about he hadn't actually LOANED to anyone. Also loved Barney's alters throughout his apartment. I really hope the intervention works and we get real Robin back. I like her and Barney together but, she was bordering on scary tonight.
An awesome episode! I think, the second best in this season because the best one was season premiere, and I still think like everybody that Patrice and Barney are not really dating but it's just a plan to get B/R back together! The whole episode was a lot of fun!
I think the last card of Ted/Robin will be played at the wedding, we know that Robin does find out why Ted broke up with Victoria eventually so I think that will happen on her wedding day, which is why Ted says it went terribly wrong
First episode in a long long time that I've loved! It was funny but not too ridiculous, the callbacks were awesome and all the characters were good. Robin is behaving out of character, but I do love her screaming at Patrice lol. Tends to make me chuckle.
Could have done without the Mickey/Judy thing but even that was bearable.
best episode of the season IMO, even though Robin and Barney are still out of character, especially Robin. I would have liked it to end with a deeper scene in which she acknowledges that, but okay, I liked the episode very much
Geez, I totally forgot about that card, but even though I struggled through five seasons hoping Robin and Ted would get back together, I already gave up, anything else that adds to that storyline is just pointless.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was flawless. Back to classic HIMYM :)
ReplyDeleteI loved it! It was hilarious and awesome.

I'm not sure if Patrice knows about it, coz didn't future Ted once said that she was Robin's arch-enemy?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have their own things cause from the looks of it, it's all Ted Mosby's things, lol.

Red cowboys boots, the playbook, the bro code... awsome ep. The only thing missing was robin sparkles. Classics are always awsome.

ReplyDeleteThis was easily the best episode of the season (so far) for me.
