    OMG it was an awesome episode !

    The boy was great, a cute one, and a really good actor ! A like all the scenes with him ! it was amazing !

    Cath finally ! She was so great in the episode ! I love her being in action ! A great scene ! And she was so cute with the boy (make me think about her scene with Grace in the 3.05 ) I really live the way she has the words to talk with people, specially kids !
    and finally Steve/Cath move on the way I was expecting since the beginning ! so it was great !

    We had some Steve/Danno scene that were great !
    And Chin's uncle was so funny and an awesome guy !

    The end :p HUGE LOVE for that ! Kamekona is great ! Love him more and more ! Steve/Cath were lovely !

    So an awesome episode, were we finally saw Catherine (for my big pleasure) and were we had a great plot throughout the episode :)

    Pretty good episode. The kid annoyed me at times though. Totally called the scene where he sent Catherine for a drink and ditched the office.



    Danny and Kamekona shopping for a helicopter was just hilarious. Loved that scene.


    Yea, carjacking Steve? Not a bright idea, pal.


    A bit light on the Kono moments tonight though. She spent all her time at HQ. You gotta get out more, Kono!

    I absolutely loved the episode.


    It had a little bit of everything. Cath/Steve, they are so great together. Loved Steve's idea of a romantic breakfast. LOL But as we could see he can do way better.


    Kickass Cath! That was great, and way more believable than anything Kono ever did. I love her.


    Since I'm not a fan of Kono, I didn't miss her at all. But I must say, I wondered why she stayed at HQ all the time. Maybe Grace Park needed time off? It was a bit strange. But not that I'm complaining.


    I would pay good money to see Steve, Cath, Doris and Danny at Casa McGee having dinner together. ;-)


    If I would complain about anything, it would be about the sneak peeks. The complete scene with Chin's uncle, and the ending? They could have done better than that.


    This was an episode I will enjoy a few more times.

    Why can't we like both? Kono has been seen a lot lately. Catherine was off for 2 episodes.
    But hey, if you don't like her then you don't.

    The story was entertaining. Loved seeing Steve/Catherine as a couple. Catherine was pretty kick ass. Steve getting a clue of how to treat a girlfriend at the end was great. George Takei played a great moon shinner.

    Yeah ! I agree with Diane ! I love both ! We don't hve to choose ^^

    The thing is that we didn't see Cath a lot during season 1 & 2, and certainly not as we're seeing her in the season 3

    Kono already prove what she was able to do several times ! Not Catherine ... And I guess it's what they're trying to do, to show us who Cath really is, and what she can do ...

    I don't think Cath is taking Kono's place (it's not what you said, it's only a comment :) ) Kono had her own episode, and we saw her as we used to ! Catherine was missing during 3 episodes (the 2 last ones and 3.07) so I guess it's pretty fair for her to be a lot in this one :)- But you have your own opinion, I respct that of course :)

    Let me ask you why you don't like her ? I would like to know why people are not OK with Cath being a regular, just to undestand and to get your point of view ;)

    Awesome ep. I think Danny is actually at the point of wanting to hurt Kamekona. Badly. Wiring him up to buy the copter? Genius.
    Carjacking Steve McGarrett isn't the worst idea ever. Jumping off a 300ft cliff is probably a better idea though..
    I liked Catherine's role in this ep, she gave it an extra oomph. And her scenes with Steve were just hilarious. (one llittle side note though, even a blind man could have seen the kid escaping).
    Overall brilliant. Hate the fact that we don't get it back until 14th Jan.

    That is something I would also like to know. I respect if someone doesn't like a character. I mean I can't stand Kono, so I'm one to talk. ;-) But I always give a reason why I don't buy her role or her portrayal of the character.

    Most Cath 'haters' simply say she steals the time of the others, which, in my opinion, is not true. How boring would it be to see only the core four? They need people to play off of. Even if she only were a friend of McG, which she certainly isn't, I wouldn't have a problem with that. He needs a private life and a woman in his life from time to time. He's not a Munch, even if some people don't like to see 'their' favorite character in any kind of relationship. Or at least in one of their fantasies. Just look at all the McDanno/McKono lovers. (Shaking my head here, as if that would ever happen. Thankfully so. Don't let team members get involved. Bad thing.)

    Anyway, I am very interested to learn why people don't like Catherine. And I'm not talking about Michelle Borth. I'm only interested why people think Cath is not an interesting character.

    Yeah you're right ! I really can't imagine somebody don't like Cath because they really built a perfect character, nice, beautiful, sexy, friendly, an action woman, a smart one ... so she's great, I tried to imagine why people don't like her, but I can't find any reason lol

    that's why I asked to try to understand :)



    And by the way, I totally agree with everything you wrote, She's not stealing the time, nor taking the place of anyone of the team
    And getting people of the 5-0 involved in a lovestory, it's not a brilliant idea at all ! It the reason I think that's great to don't have made Cath a 5-0 :)

    These comments have me thinking of conspiracy theories now, great. I don't know why, but since they're focusing more on Cath my instinct goes straight to Kono is leaving. I like Kono, and I don't have a problem with people who don't like her. But lately I've been rooting for Cath. I thinks that's why, they are making Cath so likable, as if at any moment their gonna kill/leave Kono in the dust and up pops Cath but the audience already loves her, so there is no problem with the transition…kinda reminds me of NCIS and the whole Ziva/Caitlan thing.

    Well I did say the final 3 eps for the year was gonna be good. Another fave!

    I'll make it short I'm very busy at teh moment :) running a popular FB page does take a lot of your time LOL

    Like what everybody has said I loved the scenes with Cath & Steve and I have to admit I liked Ethan I thought he was perfect for his role I thought he did a great job and seriously can we have another episode with Steve and a child he is great with kids and the fact he had just became a father at the time of filming really helped him Saxon, Spike & Lion do have one lucky father/friend to have!

    Yeah I was missing Kono also I don't know why they cut her off she wasn't on a break or anything I haven't heard but I think they wanted to give Michelle some time in the episode and I thought it was a great idea. And I love kickass Cath also! I love ninja McGarrett I'm glad they brought him back I loved that scene when the guy tried to hijack Steve's car and he was all badass so hilarious and Chin being covered in Pig goo I was in stitches! I'm glad they picked on him in this episode it's always Danny or Steve

    One little disappointment Peter did say we are going to find out soon how Chin is coping after malia's death I thought it was mentioned in this episode because it was their wedding anniversary in this episode since they got married at Christmas and I thought there would've been a mention but I guess he wanted to keep it to himself or that the writers forgot to mention it.

    All in all great episode but we have to 3 and a half weeks OMG such a long wait! Oh well I'll watch S3 all over again in the correct production order

    Well I understand the fact that yeah, if you like a lot Kono and that she isn't there of course you're gonna hate Cath because she's kind of taking her place, but Cath was missing during 3 episodes, and Kono in none ! She's always there, even in some episode she's less, in others she's more

    Cath is a regular now, she's supposed to have almost the same time than the others so ...

    Kono has been in a lot of scenes this year. I don't know how you got that she is being replaced. Every time Catherine comes in someone says that she is taking Kono's place. That is never going to happen.
    I love them both, Grace Park is not going anywhere. I don't understand why people have to think Grace Park is leaving. Even the first year there were rumors and she is still here, and getting more screen time then ever before.
    As far as NCIS, the actress, Sasha Alexander, was the one who decided to leave because she could not handle the work schedule. Since she has left, Mark Harmon, who is not one to make too many waves, helped change that, and although its still a tough schedule, its not as bad as it was. So the actress who plays Ziva only came in after Sasha decided to leave.

    I normally love this show but this episode was Okay for me. The plot was pretty bad and the kid was annoying. I enjoyed the cargument, steve and cath scenes and danny. Kono was stuck indoors the whole time (not cool!) and adam's shady brother wasn't even there! the helicopter thing is actually hilarious.
