I hope there is a wink to Fringe with this title...
ReplyDeleteIf I remember right we have information about a little girl seer...
I was actually checking if they were writing it with one or two 't's to be honest...
ReplyDeleteOh they are heading to find Bae!
ReplyDeleteHa! Me too! XD
ReplyDeletebut Manhattan is just ok... so what kind of wink do you see here? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know! -I mean like vargesz was saying, some critics really took the alternate spelling in the alternate universe kind of negatively and it was all over the interenet. It's a name of something I think most Fringe fans would immediately think about. (and there are some Fringe references/Easter eggs already in the series like August the course correcter, and his [magical?] Typewriter, names Peter, Astrid, and Walter (sleepy), riff from "Momentum Deferred" in "Hat Trick", Alice in Wonderland allusions/themes, two children who played young Peter and Olivia "Subject 13" play Hansel and Gretel "True North", ect)...
ReplyDeleteIf it actually has to do with the place, beyond the concept of multiple universe/reality maybe it's wink to the idea that two of the realities have similar places (like someone from one reality named/built some place in one reality after a place in another) and/or maybe there are other portals (spaces) that serve as "bridges" (Like Liberty Island). The only other idea that comes to mind, besides Massive Dynamic or Fringe events (people that see the future) is the episode "6B" - quantum mechanics can be created by strong kinetic emotions/bonds across multiple/parallel universes, but that is something Once has been gearing at for a while...
But hey it's probably just nothing, but my wishful thinking :)
Why did I instantly think of Doctor Who when I read that title? ;)
ReplyDeleteMaybe another Emma flash back. First Tallahassee, now manhattan?
ReplyDeleteAt this point, everything reminds me of Doctor Who
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt in my mind that this means that Neal is going to be in this episode. My reasoning:
ReplyDeleteRecently, Jennifer Morrison (Emma), Jared Gilmore (Henry), and Michael Raymond James (Neal) were seen filming a scene together (people on set claimed to have seen Emma chasing Neal through an alley). This scene was filmed in Vancouver, but the set decorators had transformed this area of Vancouver into Soho (a neighbourhood in Manhattan).
Bae is Gold's grandson. Hohoho!
