oh fucks yes at seeing him fly, now that's what I'm talking about!
ReplyDeletethis is epic! Zod, Lois, saw a little perry running from a building being destroyed, jor-el, lara, martha, jonathon (who btw "should I have let him die?" jonathon says "Maybe"???What!? The john schneider smallville Johnathon would never have said maybe!) Wow very dark but extremely cool and epic!
ReplyDeleteA bearded Clark Kent?
ReplyDeleteJonathan Kent willing to have Clark let people die)Jonatha's Influence Is suspose to be what leads to Superman helping people)
Superman Is not a Dark Character. He does what he does because he wants to help people.Snyder Is trying to Batmanize Superman.
This movie will be very cool and epic to watch!!Looking forward to this movie too!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs it Jonathan doing the voiceover about deciding who to be? If it is, I thought that was just the continuation after he said "Maybe..."
ReplyDeleteGotta say I was not excited about this movie at all, but this trailer swayed me. It looks pretty good. Dark... which is something Superman was always missing to me and why I liked a lot of other superheroes above him.
ReplyDeletethis is looking very good
ReplyDeleteSmallville was just about Clark Kent learning who he really was during his high school yrs and college and during daily planet life but in the series only a handful ppl knew who he was also they kept him from flying as Clark Kent but mocked us in our face when he flew as Kal-El to retrieve one of the three kryptian crystals from lex luthor!!
ReplyDeleteBut the movie itself is basically a darker version where Clark reveals himself as a kid and to the world eventually. I believe the movie will top smallville lol
I gotta say, pretty interested on Jonathan's characterization and what it means for Clark's pathos. Really gets me wanting to see this, and of course the movie looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYes. He thinks that that is what you do with superheroes now (unless you are Joss Whedon and brilliant). You make angsty, dark, conflicted nonheroic stories out of them that make little to no sense. But I really think you can only do that so far with Superman before the story itself and the character rebound. I think it will be okay in the end.
ReplyDeleteTrailers are as same as the promos for a given episode for a show. They flare it up and edit the actually lines to make us pull our hair out of our head and scream in agony, lol.
ReplyDeleteOmg I am so excited!!!!
ReplyDeleteChristopher Meloni appears at the 2:02 mark.
ReplyDeleteOh no, he did not just say he should have let the kids die!
ReplyDeleteDarn right this looks promising! It's making me itch for a Justice League movie....
Anyways, I will so try to go see this...
I've always thought he would be great as Lex Luthor
ReplyDeleteHe's not playing him, it's playing Cournal Hardy
ReplyDeleteI know, but i would have liked him as Lex
ReplyDeleteClark never says he is willing to let people. When he asks if he should have let them die, Jonathan says "maybe". Clark does help the people in the bus which is what leads to the discussion. So he does want to help people. I think it would nice to bring another perspective to oppose what Clark thinks, it can only strengthen his beliefs in the end.
