  1. Can't quite see the point of embargoing stuff and then practically giving it away in the promo, lol

  2. Yeah they have been quite hmmm 'blunt' in the recent trailers.
So, have you noticed too, that some of the scenes shown in the trailers are not exactly the same to the one we see in the episode?
For ex. last week: When Daegal held Merlin after giving him the healing elixir, in the trailer the poison came back out of Merlin's mouth, the angle of the shot was from high above and . In the episode: no blood, close up shot and it was clear that Daegal was there with Merlin.
Same thing trailer for yesterday's ep:. In the trailer we see Merlin breaking down on his knees before a hooded figure, the shot is from the distant. In the episode, it was clear the hooded woman was Finna and Merlin broke down in a close up.
The trailer shots are clearly used to create tension for the fans and seducing us to make wrong assumptions (Merlin seemingly dying with blood streaming from his mouth, OR. Morgana seemingly killing Merlin in the woods). So I wonder if everything we see in this trailer is exactly as it will be in the episode?!

  3. Oh, that's interesting, I'm sure I saw that scene in last weeks episode. I've only watched the previews thou so far so haven't seen what made the cut to TV. I have them in my iplayer account to watch, but just haven't had time, lol. Maybe they cut it because it looked too much like blood and was therefore was too gory for the show? I've heard that the only reason we saw the Dochraid blood after Emrys cut her with Excalibur is because it was green, lol.

  4. Haha. so it's good to be 'green' ...
and BTW (That''s me, getting all this off my chest) I In last week's episode Merlin took the blue elixir that changes him from old to young BEFORE he entered the cave with the Dochraid. Usually he does a spell to become old and THEN takes the elixir to turn young again.
