You will find below a trailer for Jo, a French copshow (shot in English --') starring Jean Reno (Le Grand Bleu, Léon, Les Visiteurs, Mission Impossible, The Da Vinci Code) and Jill Hennessy (Law & Order, Crossing Jordan, Luck).
TF1 (Télévision Française Un) came up with this export-oriented series in which a recognizable French actor (Jean Reno) speaks in English and plays Jo St-Clair, a cop with an attitude (!) who has a troubled past (!) and a complicated family life (!) and who solves crimes around Paris (even on the Eiffel Tower according to the trailer... yeah, it's for tourists - where are the mimes and the escargots ?).
It was just taken off Youtube. It seems to still be available on Allociné.
Linkin Park... yeah, 2007, rock n'roll, baby !
There will be 8 episodes in the first season. Furthermore, TF1 is also planning to air Crossing Lines, another English-speaking Paris-set copshow (10 episodes) starring Donald Sutherland (countless great films - what is he doing in this?), Marc Lavoine (a French singer turned actor), William Fichtner (Prison Break) and Genevieve O'Reilly (Episodes). It's created by Ed Bernero (Criminal Minds), the first three episodes have been directed by Strike Back's Daniel Percival. Interior scenes will be shot in Czech Republic, because filming in France is too expensive apparently. The plot revolves around a special unit created by the International Criminal Court to investigate on crimes going beyond European frontiers. So it's just a copshow, basically. It started filming September 26, and it will ready for 2013, like Jo.
