  1. Ohhhhh great !!!! Don't know if I'll be able to vote because I'm in France (and I even don't watch it live because it's 4 am here when it aires) but a very interesting way to involved fans on the show !!!

    Can't wait to be Jan 14th !!!

  2. .Sorry, but I don't like that one bit. I will always think one of the other endings would have been way cooler.

Who knows what kind of action we are going to miss out on? Nope, not gonna like this at all.

And how is that even going to work with different time zones, and Canada airing it an hour before the East Coast does? We will all be stuck with what one time zone chooses?

I think this is a really stupid idea.

  3. It could go the same way, that some soap opera from South America did
years ago, it had 3 endings and when ending was coming each country
viewers was allowed decide how it should end...

It will be fun to see what versions in morning people will find online...

  5. In my opinion CBS are doing this because the ratings are dropping. There are a lot of good shows around right now, and there is a huge fanbase on most of them, especially competitors on CBS. It's something different, and CBS/H50 backroom people see this as a way of bringing in new viewers by letting them write the episode. It's a perfectly balid idea, and I'd like to see the ratings when they are announced Jan 15th. Although, I am wondering how people will be able to vote. CBS website maybe?

Personally, I don't like the idea. Living in England means I won't watch the episode until the following day. This means I won't get to participate. I also think that this idea will end up with people picking the suspect that the writers originally intended. If this is to happen, then although it is a good way to get viewers involved, it will have been a waste of time.

  6. What a con! I love this show but what there doing isn't possible they've already locked down this episode and the ending has been chosen the results will be manipulated to fit that ending so vote if you like but it doesn't matter. I want to stress that I do love this show and watch every episode but what they are doing is nothing but a stunt and a fake one at that.

  7. They might have filmed extra scenes with two other actors for different endings.

  8. what I mean is they can't change the scene to be aired at the last moment. Sure they can film multiple scenes but they can't change the ending at 10:45 so it can air at 10:50.

  9. In my country there has been some shows doing that, and I always found it an awful idea! Never liked that the spectators got to decide...

  11. Wow. This is different and interesting. Hey NBC, I want you to see this because this is something that you're not: smart. What does CBS do when you put your high rated Revolution on hiatus for 3 months? They seize the chance to boost their ratings. Whether or not this ends up being manipulated or however it's going to work, it's going to do one thing: increase the live ratings, which is the most important thing. The question about the time zones is a very good one and I have no idea how they're going to manage that. As for the viewers in Europe, I hate to tell you this because I would prefer it the other way, but unfortunately your views don't matter in the ratings because you guys see different ads over there. I wish that weren't true because I'm a big Chuck fan, and the world ratings being relevant would've really helped the show out. But it is true. The U.S. ratings are the only ones that matter. For the issue about changing the scenes quickly, networks can change what's being broadcast by the minute, so that shouldn't be a problem. What will be an issue with that is the time it takes for everyone to vote. Anyway, this will be interesting to see how it turns out.

  12. YEP ! I totally agree !

It's really too bad that our ratings here in Europe don't matter, because it would change things
To give just 2 examples from France, Terra Nova had really great ratings here, and people who watched it loved the show and just wanted a season 2 !

Same idea for The Mentalist, here its the number 1 of the US shows, and the ratings keep increasing ! But its quite bad in US ;)

so we'll have what americans want lol
