Last Friday’s 10PM episode of Haven contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school setting and in light of the recent tragedy, we have decided to reschedule it along with the series’ season three finale, originally slated to air this Friday, December 21st at 10PM. The final two episodes of season three of Haven will now air back-to-back on Thursday, January 17th from 8-10 PM (ET/PT) to maintain the integrity of the series’ serialized nature.
Update: 18th Dec It seems Showcase have moved their dates for these episodes. We've still no official confirmation from Syfy yet.
We will no longer be airing the last 2 eps of #Haven this Friday. We have moved the airdates to Friday Jan 18th with #312 at 8 & #313 at 9pm

thursday ! YAY ! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thursday suddenly became much better;)
ReplyDeleteIs this for real??? great news!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is good news.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant
ReplyDeleteFor real? Yay!
ReplyDeleteWer're just trying to confirm with Syfy
ReplyDeleteYay! and here I thought this was going to be boring thursday with all my shows on hiatus...
ReplyDeleteHope they don't edit it.
i hope this is true dark because i read this " thursday for 7pm as part of the marathon" and as it went they took reunion and replaced it by eureka on last friday on their online schedule on syfy but some guides keep having reunion as part of the marathon , confusion, confusion
ReplyDeleteWe're trying to confirm the date with Syfy. As soon as we have it confirmed we'll update the article.
ReplyDeleteHas syfy confirm anything?
ReplyDeleteNot yet, I'm waiting for their press officer to confirm it to us via email.
ReplyDeleteOkay, it's just that having my whole body crossed it's getting a little bit painful but I'll hang on until we know for sure!
ReplyDeleteHa lol. As soon as we know for sure, we'll update and tweet out the news
ReplyDeleteGreat, this post has been open in my tab since last night, I'm refreshing it every... you don't really wanna know the details.
ReplyDeleteI heard that SyFy is postponing the season finale, too, and both episodes won't air until sometime in January.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's looking more likely now that Showcase have pushed back as well. I'm still waiting for Syfy to confirm the dates to us :(
ReplyDeleteSyfy UK seems to be airing Reunion tonight.

Wow! Well at least they will be airing both episodes. Its only a month away.
ReplyDeleteSyFy will be showing another ep of Eureka on Thursday at 7pm.
ReplyDeleteGiven the reason for it being moved it seems very frivolous to complain, but still: NOOOO! Ah god i can't wait until January to find out what happens!! I guess it will be something to look forward to after Christmas though, and that's all cool.
ReplyDeleteR u kidding me
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth Foxtel (aus) still lists Reunion on Thurs Dec 20th at 8.30 and Thanks for the Memories on Dec 27th at 8.30 on 13th Street.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that doesn't change.
At least they are still planning to air it in the future. Sucks that the wait will be so long. I was so excited for Laura to guest on the show SINCE I found out she was going to be a guest. I'm not saying I don't have a heart.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm glad that they decided to air the episodes in the order in which they intended to, I guess my main issue is one that is different from most people's (I've studied criminology and sociology pretty extensively, which I guess this is where this comes from).
ReplyDeleteMy problem isn't that they postponed it the day it was supposed to air. That was a compassionate thing to do for the families and the nation to let them/us have time to grieve. I wouldn't even have a problem if they had postponed it an additional week, but my worry is that by postponing it a whole month, that says something about our society and to any future gunmen that want to shoot up a school. It's bad enough that the whole nation is held captive by the news media about the shooting and thereby giving the gunmen notoriety for life, but if we start altering the way that we handle fictional material after such incidents it gives them even more power.
Postponing things a week or so gives the nation time to heal, but any more than that and we're saying that we're allowing them hold us captive in fear long after the incident or their death. Now one show may seem like a small thing, but it sets a trend for future incidents. In my opinion the sooner we can get back to normal, the better because it allows us to heal. If we can see what we normally see on television, no matter how closely it resembles life (which in the case of this episode I think it's further off than most people think-it's science fiction and it's murders of adults at a high school reunion), it may allow us to return to normal and start to heal.
Now aside from my sociology theories, it just plain sucks as a fan that I have to wait a month to see the episodes lol!
I'm really sad to be missing this show as I love it but, it is after all just a show and I totally respect their reasons for rescheduling the episodes. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sandy Hook families at this time.
ReplyDeleteDid this air in the UK on Tuesday? Can't find it online anywhere
ReplyDeleteNo, it was a re-run
ReplyDeleteIt was pulled from schedule last minute, and next week it was supposed to air here in latin america, but it's been pulled too, so I guess we'll all have to wait.
ReplyDelete3x12: ''Reunion'' and 3x13: ''Thanks for The Memories'' are 'online' now for those interested.
