DONovan was playing to the lab to cab hallucination scene...I was wondering if the cab driver Walter imagined could have been an image of Donald? (Donald is also the name of the hit man the Observers "hired" (?) to help reset their desired trajectories (course correct), as they tried in "August"...Walter paying him is thematic to "the man who sold the world".)
Lost of LOST references this season. Donovan, Michael & Walt, The Hatch/Swan (Including Radzinsky), Vintage Bus, Pin Point Transceiver-Message repeating in pattern/on a loop, Observers = 2 sudo purges, Wizard of Oz themes, ect
I think September is Donald. It could be that after September went rouge, he went into the future, and grabbed the child Observer, brought him back to the past and hid him in the blue timeline. He then went To Amber Walter and told him they are coming, then at that point had Walter remove the tech in his head, Walter said: "What happened to him was... well, unexpected" I believe the unexpected thing was September becoming a normal human again, regrowing his hair, having emotions, etc. He then assumed the name Donald (or maybe just remembered his original pre observer name), and then vowed to help Walter rid the world of the Observers.
I really believe Donald will be someone we know. Otherwise what is the reason for all the teasing of his identity?
If not September, then my next logical guess would be Nick Lane since his cortex-ability was empathetic much like the child's ability is empathetic.Which makes me wonder if the child is a cotexi-powered Observer. Maybe he has been dosed with corteiphan.
Other guesses based on age hair color, and build are:
Lincoln Lee Brandon Fayette Canaan (the goodhearted human shapeshifter)
Elliot Michaels (T%he CIA agent that was trying to get custody of the child Observer in season 1)
so im guessing we will learn who is Donald in epi 5.10, right?...or u think they will continue to tease us till the Finale if this Donald will have a Major role in ending our Beloved show...☺....
I think it's plausible if all Observers are in fact a more direct incarnation of humans, and use the tech...but then are debate would rely on the child Observers and how they are created? -With the same tech (<--very Walter and Bell like), or are they human-observer hybrids?
As much as I want to meet Donald, the juxtaposition to the season1-3's time lines to the hit man, makes me think it is possible we will not see him, because I think that this is not about destroying the Observers, as much as it is about the characters, especially Walter, changing his ways (not using children as weapons of warfare) ...and choosing LOVE. However, this past episode proves that isn't easy, because the others are still marching on, despite his wish to slow down the process...
But that set aside, I think it would be really cool and totally unexpected for Donald to be September and it would be a neat way to see shapeshifter and growth acceleration technology reversed! It makes a lot of sense! Good thinking! (I also like Canaan prospect!)
Nice theory, just what I think...but I go beyond, like, September was the one who saved Michael and Michael IS September it makes sense..So Michael is September who is Donald who is the boy that must liveafter all this time, so the real protagonist of the show is Septermber after all..
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Love this!!!!! This is what i'm going to miss!........ and more of course!
ReplyDeleteDonald Duck?? lol
