  3. Oh come on, Fringe has better titles... this season is so disappointing.

  4. TVLine just confirmed it as "An Enemy of Fate"

  5. One of the Fringe trio is going to doing something crazy I think and go against the inevitable, and fight their fate perhaps? It could be a bit like SPN S5 and Lost S6 the whole thing about freewill vs destiny/fate.

  6. Great title for a series finale! Way better than a typical "The End" or similar, I'm really pumped!

  7. could just mean that someone hates their own fate and will have to face that its inevitable and everything they do to change it only makes it come true. eg: peter becomes an observer and starts the whole problem he's trying to fix in a full circle moment....

  8. I am sure this has to refer to Peter. He's going to do something that ensures the Observers never become a thing. Likely with sacrificing himself. And it will be like when Harry Potter walks into the forest, ready to die. But like Harry, Peter won't die and the last scene of the series will be the picnic scene with Etta, except this time, no Observers come up over the hill and they live happily ever after :)

  9. For me it refers to Observers, they are the worst ennemy of humanity because according to what Walter knows (4x19), 2609 is not good to be on Earth (thank the Observers).

  10. Very interesting title. Since Fringe is a struggle between fate (what's meant to be/the future the observers came from) and people's choices and trying to change fate (Walter saving AltPeter, Peter becaming an observer) I think this is a good name for the last episode.

  11. I agree with you. I think it could also mean Olivia if what happened to Peter is what created the observers, so she could be the enemy of fate when trying to reverse what happened to him.

  12. Observers or Peter? Really AWESOME Title!

  13. In that youtube video Wyman says: Enemies Of Fate! Not An enemy of fate. It's plural: ENEMIES.
Meaning Fringe team. Walter, Peter, Olive. All of them.

  14. Ultimately though the Observers come off as "course correctors" , so one might argue that creating the Observers was about gathering data to change fate, which I agree might also be extended by Peter and the Machine and Peter as a type of Observer and that this will be a full circle moment, but it might be evolutionary in that a cycle might be breaking into a new one (as we don't always know what "variable" is going to be the things that really sets change(s) in motion to create new patterns of new changes...

  15. Ya except that it might one's fate to change one's fate :p

  16. Yes,it is an awesome title! Can't wait to see whats in store for everyone,i just hope its what we believe will happen!

  17. So many possibilities in this title, will just have to wait and see.

  18. Watch the video in the souce. JW said "Enemies of Fate", not "An Enemy of Fate". Tv line is wrong. I believe what came out of the horse's mouth.

  20. DarkUFO, over at TVLine Matt confirmed with Fox that the title is An Enemy Of Fate. So maybe their are two titles and Joel hasn't decided which one he wants to go with? So i guess for now both are correct.

  21. TVLine confirmed with Fox that 'An Enemy Of Fate' is the working title of the finale.I know what Joel said in the video maybe whoever it was Fox got it wrong, doesn't really matter..

  22. I personally like the singular better, but hey whatever it is, it is.

  23. Honest to god, first thing that went through my head seeing this title: "DUN DUN DUNNNNN." It's so dramatic. I love it.

  24. You're right. And also Wyman just posted a picture on his twitter and it says "An Enemy of Fate"

  25. Looks like JW posted a pic of the shooting schedule cover page on twitter and it does say; An Enemy of Fate", so I stand corrected since it is straight from the horse's proverbial mouth.

  26. Thanks for telling me! I had a feeling it was that title, when Joel was telling Marisa what the title was he hesitated before, and after announcing it.When Joel is talking he usually doesn't stumble like that. I like this title better anyway,as DathLocke pointed put its singular instead of plural that might make a difference. Joel did say he kept re-writing because he didn't want it to end,of course also wanting to get it right! :)

  27. In case you didn't see it Joel tweeted a little while ago,the title is An Enemy Of Fate.
