  1. Walter in the deprivation tank? Awesome. Gah, why is it so far away. At least there's tonight. But then there's only 2 more Fringe Fridays. So much to love but so little left.

  2. I hope Peter has to go into the tank to rescue Walter. And get all wet. In his black boxers. Yeah. Don't forget to take your shirt off, hon.

  3. I'd much rather watch Olivia in the tank

  4. Donald has to be September doesn't he? They way they are building up the reveal suggests it has to be someone we know, could it be September with hair?

  5. Agreed. I was hoping she'd take to the tank for one last trip before the series ended.

  6. Another thing that was unique to Olivia's character given to someone else. Par for the course in Season 5.

  7. Actually, Walter's been in the tank before. Neither Here Nor There, if I recall correctly.

  8. He was hiding in the tank from 'Peter' but he wasn't using the tank.

  9. I think it is, because as Walter said; "What happened to him was...Well unexpected." What is more unexpected than September becoming a normal human again after removing his tech, in an attempt to keep the other Observers from tracking him while he helps you formulate a plan to rid the world of them?

  10. YAY for answering "long-standing questions"!!!!

Can''t wait to see Walter in the deprivation tank! And have know idea what Windmark's mission is, whether it relate to Michael or Peter?

    PS: Rick Terry, you're theory is looking promising here! (;

  11. You've got me sold now! :D

  12. I was hoping we would find out tonight though. I looks like we'll have to wait for at least two more weeks after tonight's eppy. :(

  13. Ya, but if you're right, the pay off will be great! It couldn't have been revealed in a cooler and super meaningful episode title!

  14. Three more weeks actually. The next episode after this one is Jan. 11th, 21 days from today. :(

  15. Yep for some reason I failed to count the week leading up to the 11th.

  16. Just thought about something else. What if the plan to defeat the Observers is to send out an electromagnetic pulse or signal set to only disable corticle implants, thus reverting all the Observers back to a normal human state, and also making sure that any other Observers who might want to come as a second wave would also be disabled, effectively ridding the world of Observers.

  17. Remember that Walter already said the changes are irreversible, so it does not fit if his hunch is correct. Perhaps September was the boy - who does not have an implant - and.. I don't know, it can go anywhere (being reversible in September's case).
Only one thing that makes me wonder is the old series of Observers having a different way of handling matters: not handling at all! So I think there are two sets of them, just like we had red and blue universes (probably I am mistaken) - what could be a reason for the redverse to come into play again IMO.

  18. I'm surprised they showed that tonight! I figured it would be in 3 weeks.

  19. I had thought that it could end that way too because of the Alias references...

The season 4 finale was originally titled "End Game". -End Game was what was referred to in Milo Rambaldi's visions (in s3 we have a guy who can see the future unfold names MILO Stanfield)

In Alias one of the first pieces of tech introduce is what is coined as The Muller Device named after the first scientist to create Rambaldi's small scale version of the device, Oscar Muller. (In 5x3 the person of the week lied about having a son named Oscar...in another episode this season there is an Observer named Muller...)

The Muller Device is a bio chemical weapon that one can poison the water with...It makes people act nuts/mean/aggressive...A large scale one is made in a later season...It works because of a special orchid which changes BEES behaviors ...it goes along with Fringe's "Bee-Hive-Mind" ideas...

  20. Well, as walter said that what happened to him was unnexpected, he became human again, and as was shown last episode the boy, who is september, who is donald is an Anomally that suits for me

  21. Man! Are you a sci-fi writer? You should be!

  22. I feel like a moron for asking but I'm still confused as to how Donald, I mean, September, is the boy............?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I didn't write anything "here" pertaining to September/Donald being "the boy".

Although, until recently a lot of people theorized that the child Observer might have been September, but now it appears it unlikely, as this child Observer doesn't have an implant/tech and we see in flashbacks Walter with Donald/September suggesting the implant was removed...

However, Michael showed Amber-blue Walter memories of the season 1-3 Walter...It's possible that the memories of Donald could be yet another Walter and with Donald BEFORE he became September, rather than returning back to human....

It seems though that Peter, Michael, and September might all be anomalies that go hand in hand.
