  1. Isaak was the best character this season (and not only this season), but they killed him and completely forgot about his storyline - why they even made it then?! Hannah is annoying and deceitful. Dexter is annoying, predictable, kind of boring and also stupid for believing Hannah. Deborah was annoying in the first episodes, but now it's ok, she is interesting to watch. Laguerta currently is the most interesting character to watch.
Season despite everything is still thrilling - that's a good thing, but that's way too illogical and sometimes even stupid at some point.
6/10 for Isaak and Lauguerta's investigation.

  2. Isaac was one of the best characters ever on the show. He could have had more space on the whole plot.

  3. Am I the only guy who likes LaGuerta and and her persistence to prove whatever theory is on her mind? I really hope Dex doesn't get out of this one so easy.

  4. I agree with the other 2 commenters that Isaak was one of the best characters of the season, and even the show for that matter. At first he seemed to be some generic brute villain, the Terminator as they said in the show, but the scenes where he actually talked with Dexter were some of the best. In fact, the scene in the bar between the 2 of them was one of my favorites of the whole series.

Deb has been the other shining light, or should I say Jennifer Carpenter. She has knocked it out of the park with the constant struggle of emotions for Deb. Plus, the material she's been given, particularly in the first half of the season as she tries to grapple with who Dex is, was incredibly great to watch. I hope she's at the very least nominated, she deserves the win.

Hannah, I can take or leave her. I do find Yvonne incredibly beautiful, but I'm probably one of the rare people who doesn't really love her nor do I really hate her (as it seems many fans are divided on that issue). But I will say this is the order of who I liked of Dex's ladies: Rita > Hannah > Lumen. I can't even put Lila on there because I freaking hated Lila every second she was on screen.

As for the snags mentioned, I do agree with them. Louis was the biggest disappointment of the season, probably the show, because of how they teased him to be this guy who could be a real threat to Dex only to be some petulant cry baby. Batista/Quinn have crap storylines, and I don't like how Quinn interjected himself in and killed George before he could go after Dex. And, as a guy, I have to agree with the final point of there needs to be more Jamie in a bikini on the beach.

With all of that, I'm not sure where Season 7 will fall in with the rest of the seasons other than it will be contending with the 3 best seasons (1, 2, 4) and far above the ok or mediocre (3, 5, 6).

  5. Am I the only one thinking that Deb tampered with her water to take HMcK out ? Hell, she already did it with "the other" thing this episode...
